Supposedly a screenshot from the VAR at the ARSLIV game, where they are making a decision and his/her phone has their FPL open on their phone. Not a good look at all

I think it's showing an 'unbiased' VAR guesser making decisions while checking his Fantasy Premier League stats.
Had to google what FPL stood for. Now I got it, thanks.Supposedly a screenshot from the VAR at the ARSLIV game, where they are making a decision and his/her phone has their FPL open on their phone. Not a good look at all
Sorry pal, I only know because my lad does it. I’m just a pretenderHad to google what FPL stood for. Now I got it, thanks.
This was mentioned on Radio Sheffield yesterday in Chris Wilder's post match interview. Apparently it hasn't been changed for many years and bookings are certainly easier to get these days. Makes sense to increase the number before a ban.Whilst it's so easy to pick up yellow cards I think the number of yellow cards prior to a ban should be raised - or maybe the more trivial yellows should be reduced to half a yellow. Of course if players were more disciplined they wouldn't pick up the yellow cards in the first place
It was yesterday's game that got me thinking about the inconsistency of punishment by yellow card. You can get away with nothing for a foul verging on a red card but a trivial knocking the ball away to delay a restart is an automatic yellow - but even that's not the case all the time as I think there were a couple of occasions in the Liverpool match where the ball was kicked away with no punishmentThis was mentioned on Radio Sheffield yesterday in Chris Wilder's post match interview. I think the delayed restart (kicking the ball away) only applies if your opponent is restarting the game (their free kick etc) as you are delaying their chance/advantage which is a yellow card (though this has still been inconsistent). It was yesterday's game that got me thinking about the inconsistency of punishment by yellow card. And yet, they were cracking down on this allegedly. Had it been Ipswich players, there would have been bookings.Yet in the Arsenal game their players can just scream at the officials and not get booked. One player got booked in the end after the final whistle but because like most big club players, Arsenal players think they can just surround the officials.

Oh this is great
Christ. Do you also do fact checks on Christmas Eve? “That’s just the flight radar 24 app playing up to kids. It’s just an emirates a380 on its way to Glasgow. Reindeer can’t fly”Context has now been added.
Fuck yes, can't be having too much fun!Christ. Do you also do fact checks on Christmas Eve? “That’s just the flight radar 24 app playing up to kids. It’s just an emirates a380 on its way to Glasgow. Reindeer can’t fly”
Think we need rainbow coloured cards - keep it all a bit more PC - No?I've said it for ages now, the time has come for a third card (orange perhaps). The ref can dish out one, two or three cards depending on the severity of the offence
Certainly the way it`s used is ..VAR is still wank isnt it?
I was thinking the same thing, especially with the recent record of the relegation clubs, it is all to gain for him and the "top tier" if they keep it as a closed shop as possible.Hmmm not sure I believe him:

They'd do the same as when they reduced it from 22 to 20, 4 down, 1 auto promotion, 1 play-off spot. That obviously has a knock-on effect all the way down the league, so extra clubs go down from every division, with less promoted. In 94/95, the bottom division only had 22 clubs so an simply expanded to 24 like the others to take the extra two teams, but now you'd end up with two extra teams dropping to non-league unless all the other divisions were restructured too. What would they do with the other 2 teams though? Phase them out over a couple of seasons?
Who are the big 6? It keeps changing every season. Are Newcastle and Forest now big 6 because Man Utd and Spurs are crap, or are they still big 6 just because?Prem is horrible unless you happen to be a big 6 club. Yes you love to be promoted but then reality hits when you get screwed every which way
It's not based on results but income/ turnover.Who are the big 6? It keeps changing every season. Are Newcastle and Forest now big 6 because Man Utd and Spurs are crap, or are they still big 6 just because?
