With our lack of options in midfield, can't really see anything other than a comprehensive loss. Plus, i think Leicester will play a near full strength team, as they don't have anything else to play for this season. Mahrez is a cert to start after missing the last few games.

Really hope i'm wrong though, as we're due another semi.

3-0

3-1 Leicester, voted 1-3 by mistake as I forgot we are away.

"Lack of options"? How's that pal?, I know flecks banned, Coutts injured, but we've still got Lunny, Duffy, Leonard, Evans, Holmes, Brookes, Carruthers, Bash at a push..... are they not options??

Brookes is playing u23's, why no chance??
Idve thought more chance if we can't use Leonard, Evans n Holmes?

Think we'll be in it more than against Wolves, but will struggle to get a win.

Depends on the team. I'd like to see pace up front, Don and Wilson. Don't have Fleck either so that's a bit of a bollock with Leonard and Evans cuptied.

Lundstram and Duffy probably but who else? That alone makes a win unlikely for me.

Saying all that though we held them for about 60 minutes in the league cup with a very "concentrating on the league" type team.

Leicester will want to win the cup though so will probably have the big names on.

Hopefully Brooks gets on, and we give them a run for their money for a while.

I've gone for 2-2 as we go into the game with nothing to fear. Meanwhile Leicester need a result to keep their season alive. One thing is for certain is that the players will give their all no matter what the result. Wilder wouldn't stand for anything less. Utb

Why can’t we win?

Were the Blades team under Cloughy better than Premiership Southampton? No, not on paper, but on the night a mile better.

Did Spurs deserve to beat us in the next round? They should have slaughtered us but they only just scraped it.

How about Premier League Hull City v League 1 Sheff Utd at Wembley? They won by a 2 goal margin in the end but boy did those lads run them close.

So, Leicester City... a foregone conclusion then! No chance eh?

That’s why I’ll be there because I dare to believe! About time some of you negative buggers did the same.

A place in the last 8 of the greatest Cup competition in the world at stake and all some can say is “not interested” and “play the kids” and “no chance”.

You don’t deserve to be called a Blade if you think like that!

Absolutely spot on with that post. I'll be there on Friday night with the same attitude. I also dare to believe. COYRAWW.

Uneventful 0-2 defeat.

I'm still annoyed that I can't go because of more daft scheduling :(

We’re a bit light in midfield. Will it be Regan Slater’s full debut? Or will we push Bash into midfield?

BTW what is the justification for still keeping the ‘cup-tied’ rule on players who have played in the competition previously for another club? Why can players be bought to help you win the league or promotion or help you avoid relegation but not assist you in the FA Cup? I don’t get the distinction.

Fuckin ell cerb, have you been watching that new churchill film, we'll fight them on the beaches etc, stirring stuff, get yourself in the dressing room before kick off can't loose ✌️

If we had our full side available to select (by that I include the new signings plus Fleck and Coutts and a fully fit Brooks) we could give them a game.

With what we’ve got to put out I think it will be similar game and result to what we saw in the Legaue Cup.

Main thing is Friday, no injuries to key men who may play i.e Duffy, Stearman, Baldock, Sharp,
