So we've had confession time for things we've got wrong, boasting time for things we've got right, so let's plant this little time capsule to be bumped in November 2021. Can be about anything to do with SUFC, player, ground, manager, and what it/he/she will be up to in 5 years.

I'll start. Wilder will have just departed SUFC for England having secured a 12th place finish in our 1st season back in the top flight.

McCabe will have retired whilst The Prince will surprise most and be pumping money into our bid for a top-10 Prem finish.

As above, but including the 2 year career break that Chrissy takes sometime between now and the England job ;)

Edit: Sorry, that doesn't work does it. Can't even blame the red wine this time :(

12th in Championship. Wilder sacked year before for losing in the playoff final.

we'll have droped to league one after a few seasons of drifting between the champ and league one. As we dont have the funds to compete.

President Trump is well into his second term but still finds time to send a virtual-face-mail message of congratulations to our Player Manger Chris Basham.

He is amazed that we'd put 6 past Barcelona and he wishes us all the the best in the Huang Xanjoi European Leg of the Chinese World Super Club Champions League.

The Star get the bucket out for lowly Sheffield Wednesday. After their third administration in 3 years sympathy is running out, but they still hope to return to Hillsborough one day.....

We will be a well established Premier league team in danger of becoming the laughing stock of the FA cup third round by only scoring 5 against Vanarama National League North side FC Sheffield Owls XI

We make consistently good progress with Wilder and Knill developing the squad to confront the demands of a better standard of football. Wilder eventually leaves the club for riches elsewhere and, surprise, surprise.....I can barely bring myself to admit this, all hell breaks loose when the Prince enlists Barney as general factotum, so team selection, physio, youth team fuhrer, and the guy who stands at the cctv controls and bans old adversaries on s24su from entering the ground.....and he still finds time to contribute to the forum, what a guy!

The prince who takes a stronger role as soon as we get out of league one moves us from the lane to a purpose built new stadium in preparation for a push to the premier league as new Saudi investors / sleeping partners Make their prescence known, mcabe sells the land to the Chinese and is off the radar as an owner, we pay no rent to play in our spanking new ground, we consolidate in the championship and flirt with the playoffs or go up depending on the size of the investment we make....

Moving ground is the only way we can get rid of mcabe.... and his then high rent burden to the club.... we go up, the rent goes up...

^^^^ what a load of bollocks^^^^^^

Still in non-league football after being booted out for financial irregularities regarding the Hammond transfer...

"Sheffield United, the first English football club to be wholly owned by the Chinese government defended the controversial building of their Mao Zedong statue in the Bramall Lane car park in a recent statement, "Chairman Mao had an ambitious 5 year plan and so do we".

This was in response to criticism earlier in the week from the Dalai Lama who was quoted as saying in the Sheffield Star, "They're taking the fucking piss now aren't they?"

I'll go for us been a top 10 championship team with maybe the chance of a couple of play offs withing 5 years as well. Big investment when we get out of this league and a season to establish our self's in the championship and then we will be mid table to a top half of the table team. And fluctuate there for a couple of years leaving us all in the hopes that's one day we might get into the prem again.

These are hilarious.

I think we'll be in the championship, it's a hard league to get promoted from and it seems like it gets harder every year.

Threads will no longer be just a film.

"Sheffield United, the first English football club to be wholly owned by the Chinese government have faced heavy criticism from the local media for allowing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to use Bramall Lane as a base for launching nuclear missiles capable of reaching Hillsborough stadium within 7 seconds.
However the majority of Sheffield United fans backed the move in a recent online poll".

Football won't happen on the pitch anymore, it will all be decided on Twitter.

Be a bit of a waste of good missiles, it's already like Planet of the Apes there ;)

A steady mid-table championship side gearing up for a run at the playoffs.

Promotion this season - 6months
Avoid relegation next season 17.18
Consolidate 18.19
Over achieve and bid for playoffs 19.20
Consolidate 20.21
Top 3 this time in 21.22

However I can also see us rapidly rising up the table and looking good for back to back promotions only for some 'irregularity' to be found regarding the prince's investment resulting in us being relegated to league 2.

The long awaited return of them blokes wi beer bottles strapped to their backs.

Safe standing.

Diane Abbott 4 PM.

Putin & Trump join forces with China to form an empire. Their message is simple; join us or else. The vast majority of Earth's stronger countries become known as the Rebellion.

Rachel Riley confirms she used to be a man named Brett.

Win our first play off final to join the Premiership. As for the following season.................
