This by no means is what i want to see against leeds, id love to see same side that played boro but with campbell upfront. But find the 3-5-2 reemergence today interesting.

Big negatives and positives to this will be interesting to see how we setup. ⚔️

Not convinced by Hamza/Vini combination. Sydie and CO'H need to start.

I can't imagine either Hamer will be fit to start or he'll not start O'Hare.

--------------------------Cooper
Clarke---------Anel---------Robbo------Burrows
Choudhury---------Souza
------------------------------Peck
-----------JRS--------------------------BBD
---------------------------Campbell

Not convinced he'll want to start with a 3 as no other CBs

Not convinced Gilchrist is available to pick

I want a quick counter against leads. 4 and a 3 in midfield to stop them playing through the middle and protect the FBs. Get the ball to the front 3 early and run at them.

Just got to go for it with our strongest starting eleven in our usual 4-2-3-1.

I can accept losing it we go into the game with a positive mindset, but if we turn up looking to defend and show Leeds too much respect, then I’ll be really pissed off.

i agree on the front foot and go at them just like we did with boro

He will defo play 5 at the back. Play to try and negate all of Leeds strengths, thus nullifying all of ours.

Lose 0-2.

Then whinge about their squad quality etc in the post match.

I do love wilder but he overthinks these big games time and again, I don’t see this being any different

God helps us with that

We have the squad now to be flexible in formation. It wouldn't surprise me if he went with
Cooper
Anel Holding JLT
Clarke,Peck, Souza, Gus, Burrows
O'Hare Cannon

Doesn't look like Campbell cannon hamer will start or be available
Hope Moores back

Has wilder said that?

He said in the injury update interview at the end of the week that Cannon and Hamer were getting checked out late to see if they were fit to be on the bus for today, if not ready for the next one

Campbell did look uncomfortable coming off though.

No I just think they would have been on bench and Campbell looked like he was in pain at the end as well

It would be nice to show the watching world what we can do…Especially considering we’re at home. At Bellend Rd we definitely danced to Leeds’s tune.

Can't see how COH can't be included, and as for Peck, his industry and willingness to get stuck in gets my vote.
The guy's contribution recently has been essential, so why would he not start?

Of course I understand the difficulties in getting a good blend, where specific player's complement the talents of their
team-mates, but as we've seen recently we do need our best creative player (Hamer) alongside a terrier like COH.
Whether we have BBD alongside Campbell, Wilder needs to grasp that we need to be on the front foot and not allow Leeds
a chance to take a grip and push us back.

Whoever we play, I hope the message is shoot on site and launch as many crosses under the crossbar as possible. Meslier is their only real weak link, we need to expose it.

The eleven that started the 2nd half against Boro would be my starting 11 against Weeds. Hamer if fit has to start, O'Hare and Peck also. Need BBD and Campbell for pace. Back 4 not 100% sold on Clarke or Robinson but getting matches together should count for something so should start. I guess Cooper over Faxon, why not!!!

Doesn’t matter who plays, Wilder will play 5 at back, can’t go toe to toe with big scary Leeds
Although we’ll get battered who ever we put out.

Our greatest strength now is our bench. It’s not about how you start a game. It’s about how you finish. I reckon he’ll go for a similar line up as today.

Ohare and Peck have to play. They are high energy and good on the ball. We cant sit back and try to contain them as they will break us down eventually. As said earlier in the thread I'd rather lose going for it than repeat the performance at Leeds.

If Campbell and Cannon aren't fit I'd play BBD down the middle and I'd love to see Seriki in the team but expect Clarke will play

Cooper
Clarke Anel Robbo Burrows
JRS Ohare Souza Peck Hamer
BBD

I agree, but with one slight reservation. I might be tempted to start Davies rather than Peck for no other reason than cool heads are going to be needed for this one and the PL experience of Davies might be a difference maker. I absolutely love Peck, but I wouldn’t want his youthful exuberance to get the better of him in what will be a cauldron so I’d be looking at introducing him from the bench on 60-65 minutes.

Fuck that, release the chicken.

Also, can you imagine how much space Gus will have on the left with Bogle wandering about?
