Pre-Season: Where should we go?

We're not going to Malta and I'm a bit bored of Bury so where do you think we should go pre-season?

There's usually a fixture at Chesterfield... does anyone know when Chezzie's new ground is meant to open?

It'd be good to have a Saturday pre-season trip to the seaside too (not Blackpool)... how about Whitby Town FC?

I can see us being the team to open chezzie's new ground. Grimsby will be conference so that wouldn't surprise me. I fully expect the usual rubbish i'm afraid.

Cornwall. A week down there having pre-season training and throwing in a couple of friendlies would be ideal. The usual of Worksop, Matlock, Stocksbridge, Sheffield Club would also be more than welcome for me.

I once went to Whitby Town when they played Darlington whilst I was on holiday there - great fans and a good place to visit. I'd also love to go to Grimsby. Staying locally then Bradford would be a decent trip and if we are playing FL teams who are in a lesser league than us then how about a short trip to Hillsborough

Grimsby would be a great move - love the trip to Cleethorpes and I think it would generate a full away end and more from Blades.

Chesterfield for the new ground? I can see it being us or Derby; they always play the Rams though so that could be most likely.

It'd be nice to see a good Premier League side visit BDTBL too. The PL clubs must fancy a trip to United as they know it's as tough a PSF as they'd get. Surely we could attract one of the top six - Villa would suit me or Everton.

Burton Albion with Pesch is a good shout too.

We'll do the usual trips to Matlock etc ... obviously!

Blackwell told us last month that they were looking into the possibility of going to Norway. Probably just one of a number of possible destinations though.

Mind you a trip to Shrewsbury and Chesterfield for their newish and brand new grounds respectively wouldn't go amiss either.

When do we normally play the pre-season games? Czech league starts on July 17th next season. I'd be happy with Grimsby/Lincoln/Gainsborough on July 4th or 5th please.
