I think that although we didn't perform very well last season they need all the break they can get as i thought they look shattered in both body and mind, which says a lot really with the size of our squad, we should have been the freshest team in that league. Lets give them a break and hopefully they'll come back with fresh minds ready to crack on with the task at hand.

It was probably mental fatigue more than anything, just from having Clough as your boss.

Exactly! We shouldn't have been bothered about the 60 odd games with our squad size but by the looks of it we were. It shouldn't be too much problem for your modern day footballer to play that many games but for one reason or another it was last season.
