Pre-season office predictions

There's a hardcore of serious fans in our office, split slightly in favour of the dark side.
We all gave our predictions of where we would both finish in the league, and in a moment of pure blind optimism, I said 'playoffs for both of us'.
I'm starting to feel a bit stupid now !

What I really enjoy is that I work in an organisation with bases up and down the North of England so it's not just Pigs and fellow Blades.

At the start of the season most none Blades thought we would stop up but it would be a struggle, only a couple of pigs said we would go straight back down and I think they only said that to try to wind me up.

What I got from a lot of people mainly was that we would struggle as "long ball football won't work at Championship level any more" they wouldn't believe me when I told them what a good footballing side we are under Wilder.

I think it is dawning on them now that we may be genuine contenders.
