Same, we're usually quite self-depreciating & humble unlike our neighbours. I hope that arrogance hasn't started creeping in.

The reason we are where we are, is that our manager and players treat every game with maximum respect and dedicate all of their collective energies towards getting results. We're not a side that relies on talented individuals, or one that has bought our way up the pyramid.

That being said, the noises coming out of the two clubs does seem to have been quite different as one of their fans identified. Our rhetoric has been overwhelmingly positive, whereas theirs has been slightly anxious. On that basis, past results, performances & current league standings I think it's fair for our fan base to be confident. I rarely think we'll win, but I do this week. 1-2.

I think it’s totally expected we’re the favourites and fans are confident. Hard to say it’s overconfidence. I really don’t know what to expect, as someone said it’s almost like a new season.

I saw the comment about our fans thinking we're Barcelona.....they can't have read this forum, of course we're happy, but over-confident? Nah, no way, no how. We know we have a decent side, and despite their comments about us being poor individually, they seem to have missed the performances of the likes of Fleck, Norwood, Stevens, added to which we play exceptionally good football, which, so I'm told, takes some gifted footballers to achieve.

Most of the comments fair, yes that confidence has crept into our way of thinking, glad Wilder knows the score (if we turn up casually we'll get done).
