Can't get myself excited for this one. Too many times this season we've just wasted opportunities to improve our lot. We have a very strong squad of players on paper, but they have nothing about them. Feels like even if there's a reaction tomorrow and we beat Stoke they'll only throw it away again against Leicester

Don’t mind Stokies tbh there a down to earth lot .. as for the game which Sheff Utd will turn up ? .. have seen us implode live on TV I think teams will try & replicate Wrexham’s tactics it’s how we deal with it

If Stoke go out to bully us they will win easily if they want to play football it will be a closer game. We need to be 3 up at HT before the usual 2nd half collapse.

Cheers Panchero!

Worth remembering that McGuinness, for all his failings, had a great game vs Stoke and won every set piece he went up for and scored.

I’d definitely be remembering that and starting him.

You can argue his merits but when a player has had such a dominant display against a team it would be daft not to pose the same problem to the top position that they couldn’t deal with before. Especially when you consider we are away and a set piece goal could be the difference in such matches.

Brooks was also excellent. He should be starting.

Not much interest on their forum about the game. Probably a mix of it being Christmas and their form. The game itself hardly sets the pulse racing either. Two sides likely to finish mid to bottom half
They will be reignited after this game
Not realising that being given carte blanche to chuck crosses in against a weak defense and a keeper frozen in carbonite won't happen every week
