The fact that you hate West Ham is an added bonus.

You might as well be Alf Garnet / Ray Winston, as you called the CheatinAmmers 'West Ham'!

How can you even begin to understand the level of hatred we have for those cheating twats, Scudamore and Sir Trev (on the FA panel), who concluded that a points deduction "wouldn't be fair on the fans".

If the cheating cockney bastards went out of business tomorrow, it wouldn't be soon enough for me. Sadly we have some 'water under the bridge' wankers on here who think it's time to let it go. The nearest I can get for you, is to suggest that you acknowledge Arsenal being the 'better team' since 1990. Not likely to happen, is it mate?

I can hold a grudge as good as the next man so I completely understand your point of view. There are certain teams that I will always wish bad things upon until I am pushing up the daisies.

Always quite liked Spurs overall (notwithstanding the Tim Sherwood stint). I think in part it's because they always seemed to have (a) a nice kit and (b) some interesting and talented players - Ginola, Van der Vaart, Eriksen etc. Also, as I recall they were pretty sound before/after the League Cup games too and seem to have continued that trend with the thoughts about tomorrow.
Agreed, a lot of nice comments about our fans from those cup games, and we gave them a good game. I went to both and thoroughly enjoyed them too. A strange handball and a very good Ericsson goal were ultimately the difference when I thought we’d get tonked in all honesty.

I’m interested, who?

Warren Mitchell was really a Spurs fan

One of the joys of both Spurs and Chas & Dave was their association with each other. Football songs are usually crap, but the lyrics "Ozzie's Going to Wembley, his Knees have gorn all Trembly " is priceless! I'm a very Northern person, but thought Chas &Dave were great and were accomplished musicians (and funny). I regret not seeing them live before Chas went off to play in the sky. Their beer adverts for Courage Best, which weren't shown up here but were in the Midlands where I lived at the time, were great too, and reflected a working class culture (long gone now) not too different from ours - street corner boozers, terraced houses and blokes dressed in flat caps, mufflers and waistcoats escaping for a well earned pint or four! Like many people, I don't mind Spurs at all, but I will mind them tomorrow!

A decent preview here.

They start chatting about us from 2.40 ish. Although I am not sure what Melchiot is banging on about with regard to Egan's "long term injury" that he has recovered from?

Woolwich and Liverpool for two.

Hate WHU, CFC and Celtic as well.

That's a half decent start and we'll make an honourary Blade of you yet with a bit more work.

Your 'Woolwich' is our Pigs, or the 'Massive' as the deluded S6 twats like to think of themselves. They are such a 'big club' that apparently all the big PL teams are begging for SWFC to get back.

Next up, DirtyLeeds and you really should have had that one. They dominated Yorkshire with fans in all the pit villages and non-footy towns following Revie's bunch of dirty, cheating , cynical hackers of the 60s/70s. Their seat-smashing fans won notoriety everywhere and are hated with a passion throughout the North and Midlands. For most teams, DirtyLeeds are the go=to hate models, after their local rivals.

Forrest or the 'scabs'. Nottinghamshire miners scabbed in the 1926 General Strike and again in 1984 with Thatcher's poodle, the UDM. Thick scabby twats with a sense of entitlement from the Clough years. They are now marooned in the second division, which is historically about right.

The Dingles (Barnsley FC). We've come across each other a lot in the 90s and they really hate us, so it gets very nasty. We do our best to patronise them by saying their real rivalry is with Donny or Rovrum, but given the ongoing level of trouble, we have to hate them back a bit too.

Being miserable Yorkshire twats, we have plenty of others we loath so in no particular order:
Ull (jumped up 'big time Charlies')
Chelsea - obvs
Burnley/ Brum / Cardiff / Stoke - nasty and always trouble
Leicester (administration cheats in a plastic stadium)
Newcastle - S6 levels of delusion about how 'big' they are
Port Vale / Grimsby - Full credit to them for coming from such third world shitholes and ALWAYS getting their retired 'boys' out to welcome us

That will do you for starters and I'll come back and test you later.

Egan had a really bad injury at Sunderland that nearly ended his career

In the early 80s my parents got me 'Chas & Dave's Christmas Jamboree Bag' on cassette. Used to listen to it constantly. Still got it but nothing to play it on now.

Think a lot of the PL and pundits are finally realising what we’re all about , very tough game today as I think they will be out with a lot to prove . But how good is it when we’re going to the ‘elite’ with no fear and results to to back it up .. rage good times are back
