It might be over 40 points, my original comment was aimed at someone suggesting it would be 44 points. I can't see it.

Ha ha, well I'll feel confortable if and when we are passed 44 points :)

Thanks Roy (an especially busy week for you too!) I can't handle the compliments from the Palace contingent-no snideyness, bitter comments and stereotypical attitudes to our style of play? Its just not good enough. I demand unsubstantiated tales of kidney punching old people and kicking disabled children.
I need a cup of hot sweet tea and a sit down...

Always been a good away game at palace but we dont seem to do well. I do recall a win once and Hodges scoring ,best other visit was to see the Sex Pistols.

These Palace fans seem very nice, this always unsettles me - I want them predicting a 5-0 home win and calling us shit!

Thanks Roy

interesting how comments change from game 1 to 2.

there’s an idea there for you post season

Patience my friend, there will be plenty of time after the game for the hostilities with the defenceless......

I still think it will be over 40 points. Normally the top 5/6 teams tend to dominate and the other teams get steam rollered a little bit. This season it's only really Liverpool and Man City that are a cut above the rest (and City have wobbles). Also, even the likes of Norwich are competitive and have fight in them.

For it to be over 40 points, 3 of the bottom 6 will have to improve on the points per game they have gained so far. Certainly not impossible but quite unlikely

Both Watford and Villa have improved of late.

Sheff Utd are said to be having a great season… they have 33 points??Just think
2 extra wins rather than losses
Silly draws///
and that Wolves 2 pts lost, we would be 5th!!

They're saying liverpool have had a great season but if we'd have won every game we'd have been 2 points clear at the top

But where are these points coming from? If they're coming from those around them, and they're going to have to, they can't all be hitting the 40+ mark for safety.
That means West Ham, Brighton, Aston Villa, West Ham, Bournemouth, Watford all getting at least 4 more wins.
Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Everton, Burnley, Newcastle would also need around 3 for safety. Obviously there will be a few draws thrown in, but if you look at the fixtures it would take some quirk of fate for those results to play out.

Strange obsession with the word then

- it will end up like the Southampton game with more then likely the same score,

- the score will end up even worse then the loss I predict

- Hopefully then don’t beat us on Saturday ffs

You do remember 1994 don't you?? I'm still shitting it.

It's like asking will the new signings improve the team for the rest of the season, make no difference , or bugger everything up, only time will tell........

Its quite feasible for us to go 5th on Saturday and actually cut the gap to Chelsea. If Mancs v Wuffs is a draw Spurs lose to Citeh and Leicester beat Frankie’s boys ......A victory at Palarse will really demonstrate to the boy Sander, he has made the right choice .

I don’t like it Roy, I can understand the structure of the sentences .....

Zaha will be overwhelming the backs and has been lost on grass area.

That’s better

🧐
