Sheffield will now face a team that has recently beaten Leicester and Tottenham.
I wouldn’t want to play against a team that has recently beaten Leicester and Tottenham

So, (in all competitions) that's Leicester who have won 1 in 6 and Spurs who have won 1 in 5...…..yeah great achievement Budgies, if I was them I would be a bit more concerned about coming up against a Sheffield United side who's record in the last 9 is won 6, drawn 2 and lost 1.....(and that is us "slipping" a bit....!!!

In all seriousness it will be tough tomorrow, they will come defensively looking for a 1-0 but if we can get an early goal they will have no choice but to come at us....I'm going 3-1 Blades.
Unless they do a Sheffield Wednesday and play for a 1 0 loss and then say how successful they have been.o_Oo_O

Haha we are big bullies, only our CBs are big, every team has big CBs. Recently we added Berge. Only McBurnie up top is tall and he is slim.
I don't think that we have scored a header from a set piece this season.

The biggest fear is the ref Hooper he has only been in for 8 PL games and given 20 yellows. They will be falling over from any slight breeze looking for fouls.
We can forget anything from VAR as Lee Mason is in charge for our game .For some reason he always rules against the Blades as a ref .

We are good enough defensively to deal with them.
Second in the league only Liverpool have allowed fewer goals.
Plus they are crap enough at the back to give us chances.
I REMEMBER THE LAST TIME AT THE LANE. They made Wednesday look like an attractive team. They took 5 min for every goal kick they fell down if anyone was within 10 yards of them.5 min for every free kick and when the Blades were building up momentum one would go down with cramp.I think we only played 70mins so I think it will be much of the same sorry but that's the way I see it.Thats why we need to hit them EARLY.

May be Freeman might be worth a go to see if he can open them up?

Just got a feeling they’ll shithouse a 1-0, kinda like the Bolton game couple years ago
Especially as one of our main rivals in Man United (didn't think I'd be saying that three years back!!) have their very loseable derby. A win for us puts us above them, with a game in hand, just in time for the PL to suspend the league for Coronavirus with us in Champions League position. 😄

They seem to forget at their place 1of our giant full backs scores by dribbling around their defence. Good form to their fans though, Delia pockets the £170m for a brief encounter with the PL and not a whimper about it. They must be looking forward to Wycombe Wanderers next season....

They will win 1-0,and Krull and his teamates will be redefining the art of timewasting.

The Simon Hooper win-win-win syndrome just has to end dunt it.

I'm ready,to booooooooooo.

Full of themselves aren't they after beating Leicester who are in poor form without the pace of Vardy, oh and beating Spurs errr on penalties in a game where Spurs should have had the game won in the first half despite not having Keane or Son to pick from.
That brings me to the other half of their fanbase who are whining about playing extra time in midweek .................... HELLOOOOOO!!! ......... we played extra time in midweek too. Of course these are the ones that think they are the football purists and everyone else are bullies and the Premier League ref's let everyone be nasty to them boo hoo.
I could almost cry for them myself ................................ that is if I didn't hate the fuckers, the Sheff Wed of east England no hold on, the Dingles of east England just like watching Brazil.
Come on Blades make my day and give them a good old fashioned spanking.

Cheers Roy, Mostly fair comments. I too think this will be close. Mind you, happy to be proved wrong and ‘endure’ a massive win

Just had a look and had to show this little gem...

"Genuinely think we are further ahead in our journey though. They remind me a bit of when we got promoted under Lambert - high energy, physical. But they are more defensive. Thing is, we then had years under hughton when we basically realised we all hated defensive football, it wasn't worth it. Now we are in the Premier League having a go at playing attacking football. Yes it isn't working out but at least we are trying to play good football and ultimately it will pay dividends as we are good to watch week in week out and our players are worth loads as we bring through the youth. Our squad must be worth a lot more than theirs. I would still rather watch us every week. What is the point of kicking your way to stay in the Prem year by year. "

What the actual Fk???

Just letting people know that the Norwich board has been down since about 7pm yesterday so I'm holding off a bit in getting the view from in the hope it re-emerges. Take your time and all that

'Take your time...' Brilliant

What the actual Fk???

I watched that game yesterday and first half they stuck a tonne of players behind the ball, played one up top and did very little to worry us, apart from Pukki's chance against the post. It was fairly open, but we seemed to build in waves, happy to let them have possession at times

On the other hand, we played the ball beautifully, left to right, keeping possession when we needed to, not wasting the ball by aimlessly pumping the ball forward, worked the left side a lot through Fleck, Stevens and JOC, before switching play, Norwood pulling the strings deeper. What i liked, as Norwich sat deep was that we didn't panic, we went back to Egan/ Bash/ JOC and they kept the ball for long enough to draw Norwich out, Then we went again.

Second half was a slightly different story, they went 2 up top and tried to get on the ball more. This allowed us to use the right side, through Bash, Lunny and Baldock, going at them again and again, Fleck was magnificent throughout, making his runs into the box to support Billy and McBurnie.

Last 15-20 mins i think we were sitting back too much and they created a few chances, the Hendo triple save and McG clearance being the big one.

Were we defensive? I don't think so, but we were extremely organised out of possession, ready to steal the ball by pressing them when they came too close
Physicality? Yep, we're a no nonsense side, Billy and McBurnie were into their centre halves all game, Billy giving Hanley a torrid time.
Direct? Not really, we work the ball down the wings with our two trios, linked together by Norwood. When we get the chance in the second and final third to put the ball into the box, it goes in. But mostly we were patient
Passing progressive football? Yep, in possession i thought we were much improved on recent weeks, going forward and forcing Norwich back.

I have no idea what that guy watched, but it wasn't yesterdays game.

Given the choice, i'd rather watch United with our progressive football, mixing neat football with direct when needed, than the Norwich backs to the wall approach which is based on falling over at every opportunity to waste time. Its a horrible sad sight

It's back up.

Here's a quick preview...

"Sheffield United are all Cloggers."
"They are just Burnley "
"Our squad is worth miles more than theres."
" Promotion bounce"
"Their bubble will burst"

They eat very sour grapes in Norfolk by the look of things
