but they got battered, humiliated, destroyed and bent over at wembley in a cup semi final”

Not at all, as a League one team at the time we gave Premier League Dull City the fright of their lives. I don't want to sound all Wendy but we had around 40k fans that day as opposed to their 27k and hardly any went out when the game ended most stayed to give the team a well earned ovation, most of the Hull fans had fucked off by the time I was walking down Wembley way with my head held high.
These mugs who follow Hull just can't help themselves can they must be one of those things where people hate their superiors, does any United fan really give a toss about Hull City and their support probably the one feeling towards them is one of pity.

“that’s the thing ain’t it
they may have been in the top flight recently, they may be top of the league
but they got battered, humiliated, destroyed and bent over at wembley in a cup semi final”

What?!? It was a fucking great game. We were in it til the end. We were even winning at half time. I think every Blade left with their head up high (apart from the picks brawling amongst each other) and proud of the performance that day.
At half time they were out and lined up within five minutes after the mother of all rollickings. Watching on a screen at the bar got totally confused how long id been there

Really hoping no fans fighting in the stands.

in order to create a better atmosphere hull have moved away fans right next to home fans but probably without much thought regarding fan safety and welfare

It's such a bizarre take. A 5-3 loss isn't a battering. A 5-3 loss against a team two divisions higher is a great effort. Weird lads
Was genuinely one of the proudest days I've had as a Blade.

That spontaneous round of applause when Hull made it 5-3 because we'd done so well.

Still can't believe hardly anyone watched it because Chelsea-Newcastle(?) prem match was on the other channel. Disgraceful from broadcasters/FA.

We didn't get bumed though ... so ... silver linings ...

Plus we were League 1 and they were PL at the time. Daft comment as we weren't any of those adjectives hence our fans' reaction when Meyler scored.

Nice to hear the word 'mongs' is alive and well. Not PC but made me laugh.
I'm sure i got my 2nd infraction here for using the term "****". Though relating to people of the Russian steppe. /.
One more fart port and i'm banned it seems. :/
No idea which mongoloidite reported me, but was probably wanky frank. That mongolodite always trolls my posts to wind me up.
Bye all. :) It's been nice. :)

Salty fans aren’t they. They’ll have to be on it to beat us and if they do good luck to them. They will have won their personal cup final by the look some of their comments 😂

Probably the funniest view from in a while. It’s clear that Ull still has a drug problem and the tag of “town full of smackheads” fits nicely with those comments

The big hang up about the Cup Semi is bizarre. First game we’d scored at Wembley in my lifetime and we were leading. I remember being pretty chuffed at the end as we were league 1 underdogs and they were championship or premier league (can’t recall)

There’s another comment about how we were charging towards the premier league last time we played at their place. Not sure we were as I think Slav was still in charge and we got a rare win.

As for fans, the police didn’t handle our fans at all, letting the idiots amongst them do what they wanted. But their fans were awful. As usual

Hopefully we turn these over, I’d normally say a draw would be a good result but I’d like to hammer them and we can see who’s crying after this one

Err. We were winning 2-1 at half time.

“I’ll look forward to a chorus of ‘we saw you crying on Wembley Way’…”

It's funny as that's not how I remember it. I can remember their 5th goal going in and all of our fans in Wembley Stadium giving the team a standing ovation and huge round of applause for giving their all. I can remember our fans (of League One club), leaving an FA Cup semi final beaming with pride that we'd finally turned up at Wembley, scored some goals, and given a Premier League a run for their money, and that the 5-3 scoreline showed how hard we made it for them. I can also remember a lot of their fans looking glum when they realised that they were going to face a far better team in the Final when they'd just been given a rough ride against a lower league team.

It's funny how people remember things differently. Still their "mauled by the Tigers" is the only chant worst than Forest's "Stevie Cooper" chant!

Do not get this weird obsession they have with us. Absolute weirdos

Regardless of what internet spats you’ve got going on with other faceless posters, do you ever stop and think that there’s a reason the admins don’t want you using a mean and insulting term rather than trying to find ways around the censor?
Given you get to use this forum for free why not just think “ok fair enough” instead of trying to “stick it to the man” when they doesn’t really care if you exist here or not.

Why don’t they like us so much? Them hating Leeds I can understand because well it’s Leeds but also there will be plenty of Leeds fans living out that way doubt there’s many blades.

I don’t really have any animosity towards them in fact in recent years I feel a warm glow when I think of them beating Wednesday at Wembley

Agree. Their reaction in the pub after the 0-0 draw was painful. Acting like they’d won the Champions League
