Some people like to interact with their opponents supporters at game time. I've never gloated and have always come back to congratulate you on the win. There's a lot of decent people on here.

If I was an idiot that wanted to gloat this would have been the season for it. Our clubs are a similar size. Our clubs been in the dumps since well into the last century. Now we're doing something our ground isn't big enough. If you get relegated and your attendances suffer we will still be similar size clubs.

I think United and Cov fans are cut from similar cloth. We know to never fully float, because we generally expect our sides to fuck things up in the most spectacular of fashions, to really snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

And this is what I'm saying. Nobody made a single comment against our demonstrations other than from your club and we gave you the win. You would have thought the mentality would have changed now you're looking like you could go the same way. You've wasted a lot of money and are only allowed to put a certain amount in now...and that's only if your owners are willing to do so. The years of Prem payments are over. All it takes is one bad season to crush a club and this could be yours.

You gave us nothing. You got turned over fair and square on the night. Blades came down with banners, chants and money supporting the cause.. We were singing along and were rewarded with a significant amount Coventry fans trying to use the pretext of a protest situation to alter the result of a football match - whistling and throwing things to disrupt the flow ONLY when United had the ball. It was picked up by Sky and talked about by the commentary team,who invariably hate us. Just because that strategy failed to get you the result you wanted it doesn't mean we don't have the right to be irked by it.

The Coventry fans still crying about it should aim their ire at the people who used the pretext of a protest to try and win a football game. United have seen much darker days than those and have never resorted to that.

In the 1970s a lot of footballers lived in Dronfield (thats where I have lived for most of my life) and I think Hamer still lives there. Todwick was another place in the 1970s where footballers lived.
