The supporters of Coventry City somehow have a hatred of Sheffield United for reasons it's hard to fathom (I imagine it's because they're a little simple and are confusing us with Sheffield Wednesday?).

The intensity of this hatred (matched only in its ferocity by my supreme indifference to Coventry, wherever that is) will manifest itself from the stands to the pitch and we will somehow overcome FLCCFC after numerous stoppages for treatment of members of the crowd as blood-pressure reaches levels way beyond dangerous.

I've got 150-1 on that turn of events from Bet365 (United win, more than 2.1 stoppages for "crowd emergencies").

I could have got 2000-1 if I'd added a Cannon goal but let's not get into the realms of fantasy.

I've watched Coventry a couple of times this season. They are everything that we are not.

They are so aggressive and physically fit and they close down (press) so quickly both individually and as a collective unit that most sides cannot get to move the ball fast enough to outmanouvre them to make progress going forward.

They also counter (transition)at breakneck speed and often so rapidly that opponents get caught out and cant recover defensively.

I fear we wont be fit enough or aggressive enough to compete in this game.

Hope I'm wrong of course.

I do as my mum sent fire to the house whilst watching Juliet Bravo, as the chip pan was boiling up in the kitchen.
