Hecky has reached his last chance saloon..his high noon….soon he will have a pay off of a fistful of dollars

Thanks Roy

Souza should DO Berge early, scare him out of the game, but he won't. Berge will float past him time and time again.

Burnley fans saying exactly the same as what us United fans are saying. They don't know much about us do they though imaging thinking we could bully or rough up any side other than the under 15's. 🤣
Yes, we’re living on a lost reputation, sadly.

Thanks Roy. Some of those comments sound familiar!
That said, this is so huge for both teams I can only hope its a classic.
Although it could equally end up like a very overpaid game of walking football.
Only without the pace.
Or the skill.

Written entirely by members of this forum ? Sounds like both clubs should pack up and go shopping tomorrow !
Hmmm - there's a craft fair on tomorrow afternoon. Local artisans plying their wares. Could be a good opportunity to pick up some Xmas presents...

On Saturday, football will be the loser for allowing this event to go ahead. We are 20th in almost every statistical category. Burnley are 19th. Remove Koleosho from their team and they are almost as bad as United. Their ability to be defending a lot but down the bottom in tackling statistics is almost as wild as how far United are behind the rest of the league, and Europe in carrying the ball towards goal

At least it's not on Sky. We cam all say it was a brilliant game and nobody will know otherwise
So nobody going to it ?!

The point of the word "bully" nowadays is that it's used basically every time someone scores from a header. People still take offence at it (Burnley fans certainly did under Dyche) but the word means nothing like what it used to.

The point about Burnley this year is that there is a lot of good in the team, but the gaping holes mean that the good is unproductive. We have scored first in 6 out of 13 games this season, but every single time the opposition has equalised. (We scored again against Luton.) The defence isn't solid, especially when the opponents have nothing to lose.

We need a midfield enforcer, we need the ability to sit back a bit more and solidify the defence when in front, and we need a goalscorer. We only had one, Lyle Foster, and he is currently off for an unspecified period with mental health issues. Given that, we could be doing a whole lot better.

We won't have that by tomorrow! If we score first, as is quite likely, then all you need do is get it forward quickly, either into the box or down the wing, and our defence will mess it up and let you score. And you will be accused of "bullying" and it will mean the square root of nothing.

Re the bolded bit...we haven't done that all season. You'll canter to a win tomorrow.

That last comment was someone off here wasn’t it

Berge wanted to go there?! Did he fuck. Sheffield not exactly London in terms of trendy nice places to go out with your Mrs, but Burnley is even worse. We sold him cause we were skint, not because he was desperate to go and work with their big bald manager
I always felt that Sander loved being a Blade. Since we lost him, Billy, Illi and even Doyle… no one has kissed the badge this season.
We’re still trying to rebuild that identity and connection to the crowd. It does not seem to be happening with their replacements yet who still appear to be journeymen.
Sander was forced out as a wage cutting / revenue generating measure. He reluctantly crossed the Pennines to the dark side simply because he’s a professional.

Thanks Roy.

I think we are starting to see more & more the difficulty teams like us face when gaining promotion to the Premier League. Because of the size of transfer fees for players deemed good enough the gap between promoted clubs & established Premier League teams is huge, & it is only going to get worse. Burnley spent what, £140m, yet are no better than us & fans want Kompany out.

It is very depressing, we can't even enjoy games, just worry about how many we will ship this week.
That's life, a club is for life not just the fucking shitty corupt premier league. Follow the mighty blades down from first to forth and back up again. Ups and downs, we won't win owt but as long as you're not on the high and mighty horse you'll be fine. Blades for life, simple.
