I think it’s because they’re a down to earth bunch. All that matters for them is promotion so a draw would be a good result for them.

It’s just a shame we’ve had so many long term injuries this season, the worse in the entire EFL. Quite a few will be back in January and that’s when I’m expecting us to start dominating this league.
ooh, imagine that...

"I expect some rotation as a few players are looking a little jaded with all the football at the moment and the last things we want is any unnecessary injuries."

Slightly triggering to hear other teams worying about being 'a little jaded' when half our sqaud look like they've been on the Somme.
Good post but bad comparison.🙁

Thanks Roy. I just hope Burnley are nicely intimated by the man mountains that are Osbourn,Fleck and Norwood as they stride Atlas-like onto the pitch.
When we seem to be the team everyone kicks the shit out of,how are we still labelled a physical team?
Idiots. But idiots that are happy with a point, so they're not overly optimistic.

I think McB,Baldock, Doyle and Sharp would not agree with you and I am not sure that Fleck would consider himself soft !!
We are a physical side, but not full of giants.
Add Robinson and Anel, and RND though he's not available.

“Sheff U had a couple hobble off yesterday who you might expect not to make the very next game.”

no shit?

“I’d take a 0-0 now”

me too

“It will be a hostile atmosphere”

no it won’t

“they will fly at us from the first whistle”

no we won’t

“My advice is eat before you get there or grab a pie pre-match. And if they still have the same set up, avoid the burgers!”

Sound advice👍
You forgot
"Sheffield United are very physical"

No we're not

Cheers Panchero!

Avoid Burgers!! Try to avoid all the food in BDTBL to be honest, most of the servers dont look like theyve washed for while!!!
Anyway, Cheers Roy👍
Hopefully we get a good result to take into the last couple of games before we get a rest!!

Time for a homewin, not won at bdtbl since august. All away september.

Thanks Roy.

Nothing to cause too much ire there, but Jesus have they been reading the "Book of Stereotypes" en mass?

Come on Blades, just three to go, show us what you are made of so we can be proud.

In all honesty, can't call this one.
Know little of them, but must be playing reasonably well, and after, Blades, Tuesdays
excellent 3 pointer but shambollick execution, it could any of three ways.
🤞🤞🤞.

I agree, but I try to remain optimistic. Their comment about our players limping off late on, at games end, sounds like it’s something new and positive for them?
It happens to every blades team in every game! 😉

"I used to cook the hot food on the concourses at bramall lane - Avoid the burgers " 🤣

I get some of the confidence, but if our squad had actually taken some sort of time off during the international break and we hadn’t been playing with back ups of the back ups we’re 4 points better off against Brummy/Blackpool and minimum 7 against QPR, Cov and Stoke.

Like much of the bubble opposition fans most is without factual context. So yeah, if you dominate a side with 5 of its nailed on starters out.. well done. But if you don’t pipe down and be worried.

If you think so, nobody else does, but if you think so
Try telling McB, Baldock, Fleck, RND, Doyle, Robinson and Sharp that they are not physical !
We clearly play an aggressive, physical, pressing game, hence the number of bookings we get. Perhaps you are confusing dangerous play with being physical.
We have just been fined for the Blackpool match and are now charged for the Bristol City match.
Just because we play like that it doesn’t mean we don’t also play good football.

It is still a physical game, regardless of what the Jonny come lately Nigels that have recently decided to watch football instead of croquet or equestrian think

But we are a damn sight less physical than most other teams

Regarding bookings, you're more likely to get booked for complaining to the ref about being fouled than actually committing a foul.

If a foul is given against you and you stand close to the ball for a few seconds to allow your team mates to get back in position (quite a natural thing to do) all a snidey cunt of an opponent has to do is kick the ball against you, and the ref will book you.

So bookings aren't necessarily a fair reflection of physicality

If your not an optimist your not a Blade, it's a requisite

Love catching up with these after the game, if I have missed them. A few will be choking on their words now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Cheers Roy
