important game but just one of forty six you have to be up for

a 2-0 win for us levels up the gd and gives us the chance to go top with 3 points v rotherham ,,,,, easy said
but much harder to complete on grass

they were very lucky to beat Rotherham with a goal close to midnight earned with a harsh second yellow which the Burnley player play acted for that cost Rotherham the match
other teams supporters seem oblivious to our injury crisis, but bemoan maybe one of theirs Brownhill missing

Not at all sure about this one what with all the injuries and niggles we have. Yes, we have a good Championship squad, but we certainly need it. Still, with all our problems, we are third. Fingers crossed, then, and I do love it when the opponents' supporters are optimistic. Cheers Roy.

Didn’t realise Brownhill wasn’t available for them so that’s a plus.

Always liked the look of him when I’ve seen him play, especially at Championship level.

“We really are something special and we seem to be getting better. People bang on about Sheff Utd and Norwich but they are not in our universe just now. Of course we could dip for any number of reasons but just now there is no-one near us.”

Oh aye mate, scraping two wins against two bobbins sides with the last kick of the game is absolutely out of this world 😂 😂😂.

The game before that v Norwich was won by an 82nd minute penalty, so not exactly a one sided walkover either.

“Sheff U had a couple hobble off yesterday who you might expect not to make the very next game.”

no shit?

“I’d take a 0-0 now”

me too

“It will be a hostile atmosphere”

no it won’t

“they will fly at us from the first whistle”

no we won’t

“My advice is eat before you get there or grab a pie pre-match. And if they still have the same set up, avoid the burgers!”

Sound advice 👍

“it’s going to be between us and Sheff Utd I think”

Couldn’t agree more. The game will definitely be desided by those two teams

Cheers Roygbiv

I’m thinking it might be played over two halves also, but I’m not so sure.

Cheers roy, i see were still stereotyped as a physical side, we should let our dwarves know
I think McB,Baldock, Doyle and Sharp would not agree with you and I am not sure that Fleck would consider himself soft !!
We are a physical side, but not full of giants.

"I expect some rotation as a few players are looking a little jaded with all the football at the moment and the last things we want is any unnecessary injuries."

Slightly triggering to hear other teams worying about being 'a little jaded' when half our sqaud look like they've been on the Somme.

I actually expected them to be more confident of winning. They are on a good run and don't seem to know when they are beat.

If we can manage a decent performance and a win it could give us a good confidence boost too.

I'm not actually overly optimistic myself. Think we have it in us, but think we are playing them at a bad time for us still.

Burnley favourites. Expected comments to show more confidence

I think it’s because they’re a down to earth bunch. All that matters for them is promotion so a draw would be a good result for them.

It’s just a shame we’ve had so many long term injuries this season, the worse in the entire EFL. Quite a few will be back in January and that’s when I’m expecting us to start dominating this league.

Cheers Roy.

3 points would be huge for us and our confidence going into the last 2 games. An early goal for us will get the crowd going.

I've a feeling that they will score, but so should we....

2-1 United (Ndiaye 2)

Wes

Baldock
Anel
Egan
JLT
Stevens

Fleck
Norwood
Doyle

Ndiaye
McB

Subs:
Sharp to rattle some Burnley defender's ankles
Osborn to inject fresh energy for when Flecky tires
Khadra for an apology for being subbed so early in the last game
2 other subs to waste some time in the last 10 mins as we'll be 2-1 up 😂
