Can't stand Pulis. He's a low rent Mourinho. Moan constantly, never take any responsibility, call out individual players and isolate them (Berahinho might be a dick but Pulis ruined him) and justify it by grinding out eye bleedingly bad results.

Because it's Pulis. Another has-been (like Mourinho) who just wants to spend/waste money on players to hide his own shortcomings. Even if if should get promotion, I'd rather spend a day at Redcar than watch shite like he dishes out.

I don't think even the most rose tinted Boro fan can think we can get promoted with this team currently. We have been there before and know whats required. We are 5/6 or even 7 players short of a promotion squad. Pulis said 6 a week or so ago. Monk really messed up last summer, spending a fortune (approx 50m) on players who are not good enough. Luckily the NET spend was only a few million last year and hasn't turned us into another Villa.

Gibson, Traore, Bamford, and Besic (who was on loan) have all left. We have most likely have brought in nearly £50m this summer once troare goes. Least we will have a bit to spend. It is the last year of our parachute payments on top of that too. We look to be loosing out on our targets currently. It is going to be a busy few days, then loans I guess.

We need a Right Back, Left Back, At least 1 Centre Mid, 2 Wingers, and a Center forward.

With McNair, Ayala and Gestede out. Team tomorrow is likley to be.

I'm glad Gestede won't be playing. Would rather not see us having to defend balls launched in toward him and Flint.

No Traore and Gibson is obviously a boost for us too.

Patrick Bamford's absence is also a boost for us. I think Boro have dropped a bollock with that one. Shouldn't be selling him, especially to a rival. He's a very good player. Probably too fancy for Pulis...

Got to say, we couldn't ask for a better chance to win at the Riverside.

Unfortunately, we looked pretty gash on Saturday as well. Maybe our combined gashery will lead to a 0-0 slogfest. Mind you, that would require some defending on our part, so probably not.
