£43 million incoming from player sales

Good news about Traore leaving. He's class.

We need to be more direct than Saturday. Thought we were too tippy tappy around their box. JOC never really got near their box except for corners.

Seems like we may be playing them at their weakest...

Hopefully we can play like a half decent side and take advantage like we do about 30% of the time.

They sound a lot less confident than I would in their shoes.

Let’s hope it is Hoof from them as we have a better chance defending against that than we have fast skilful players running at us.

I'd be happy with a draw, always been a tough place to go (in more senses than one) Boro, come on you Blades!

It's a massive chance to beat them for sure and the rearrangement might actually work in our favour.

Don't know why they're so worried. They'll win by a two-goal minimum and our dopey defenders will be scratching their heads again "Duhh, it's happened again Boss".

Thank god Traore isn't going to be there to knot Stevens legs together.

Second thoughts is that even such a bad thing...?

Tony Pulis is a throwback who plays horrible football.

He does however get results and promotions.

He’s a version of Warnock with 50% less cuntery.

I hope Wilder stopped bragging that he's not really touched the Brooks money and spent it instead after Swansea and we have someone new on the bench.

View from my Grandad below; seems all is not well on Teeside (although he's not lived there since 1967)

Absolute shambles at Boro selling best players and keeping has beens. Youngsters are good but never get decent chances to play. Fancy United to take all 3 points

Sky TV not reached the north east then ? If they had watched us at the weekend they would not be worried in the slightest.

Think we are a much better side away from.home and that we will have lots of the ball and frustrate them
Unfortunately we look a mess at the back so I'm not confident

Can't stand Pulis. He's a low rent Mourinho. Moan constantly, never take any responsibility, call out individual players and isolate them (Berahinho might be a dick but Pulis ruined him) and justify it by grinding out eye bleedingly bad results.

Not at all sure how Boro will approach this game, Pulis seems to be getting rid of any footballing talent in favour of anyone over 6'3" in height. Is the idea to kick their way back into the premier league lets, hope Traore is out too him and Bamford would have had me worried. Can't see this one being anything but a dull bore fest with plenty of hoof.

Think we’ll get a right pasting tbh. I’d be surprised if they don’t win by 3 clear goals. Get Duffy and Sharp back in (and Coutts when he’s fit) and things will improve. But not until then. We haven’t strengthened the squad one iota over last season.

None of the signings so far are any better than what we already had.

"We’re weak on the left, we have no creativity in midfield and we do not play to our best strikers strength"

Sounds suspiciously like our forum over the weekend..........
