How wonderful is this, "view from" has been posted the season is about to start and crowds are finally back. The first Saturday of a new season is the best Saturday in the whole year, unless you get promoted and then it's the last, it's a day when every fan of every club has big hopes, and no one is disillusioned with losses, its fantastic,

The season has now started. However I am disappointed that they have not slagged us at all !! We need to work on that. Cheers Roy !!

Bert has never forgot it.
He was stood on the Kop with the Leeds fans who were making all the noise until the teams came out.
The Birmingham fans then stood up as one and 25,000 of them sang Keep Right On To The End Of The Road.

North Stand and Leppings Lane roofs lifted up.
They also used to sing it much slower than they do now
Very rousing
Remember mi dad dragging me to a cup tie as a nipper involving pigs(he used to watch both) at St. Andrews
Packed ground and as teams came out they really belted it out
Much better then than now……

What's with the 'love in' with Birmingham. Their fans are cunts of the highest order. On a par with Millwall and Leeds IMO.

Here is the first, official

Cheers Panchero!

The comment aboht our lack of a pre season is a valid one. Might hurt us tomorrow, important not to shit our pants about it, but looking forward to everyone doing so anyway.

Cheers Woy, glad to see the limited amount of games in pre season hasn’t disrupted your flow.
COME ON YOU FUCKING BLADES!!

In 14 prem games, Leko has 2 assists. In 27 prem games, Brewster has none. Make of that what you will"

they were both out of their depth & struggled in the premier league
Wow... 2 assists is a boastworthy stat these days..

Not sure people are inviting them around for Sunday dinner, just appreciating their club anthem and it’s history.
Every club has it's history and it's club anthem. Just don't get the love for theirs. Better than Blaydon races, MOT, YNWA, Bubbles? Birmingham are a sham of a club for the second team in England's second city. Sure they can pull a crowd for the odd big game but their crowds are poor even taking into consideration their relative recent lack of success. Mid 70s since their support held up.

Cheers Roy!

“I’ve got no idea how Sheffield United are going to set up, at this point I’ve got no idea who our best XI are. Just looking forward to a night on the ale in Sheffield tbf. “

^^^this. Sums football up entirely!
Welcome back Roy!

"night out on the ale in Sheffield", best bloody answer ever, let the match look after it's self. Chill and enjoy,
Thank you Roy.

Thanks Roy.

Not much to moan about there, truth is no-one knows what to expect after another less than ideal pre-season, but expectation levels are high, COYRWW.

In the 0-0 game Monk out did Wilder tactically.

Birmingham spent the first 75 minutes sitting back defending in numbers.
We totally dominated spending most of the time in their half……but we hardly created a single clear chance.
They packed their penalty area and defended really well.

Then in the last 15 minutes they changed their outlook and started counter attacking in numbers.
They didn’t attack much but had the best chances of the game…I remember right at the end they had a really easy chance and missed.

Strange game….we totally dominated it….but in the end we were lucky to come away with a point.

They completely did us that game. My abiding memory is Norwood dropping deeper and deeper - by the end of the game he was practically picking the ball up on his own penalty spot.
