Worried about this game. They comprehensively outplayed us at BL but couldn’t score.

Bonus is Norwood can only be better against them than he was last time. Because he was fucking rubbish :)

Is there a sell on clause.Apparently Everton sniffing around.

Not feeling too confident about this one, has Wilder ever beaten a Garry Monk team yet?

Can't find it again now, but I saw a tweet the other day that said he never has beaten a Garry Monk team, and Monk is the manager with the longest unbeaten run against Wilder (think it was five games).

I'm pretty relaxed about this one. Worst case scenario is 2 points behind Leeds with arguably our three hardest remaining fixtures ticked off (Bristol City H, Preston A, Birmingham A). I honestly think I'd have taken that 2 weeks ago.

Isntit 2009 since we beat them at all ? Very worried about this one and still have nightmares about last season when we were one up and they completely destroyed us. Also think about the 1st match of the season a few years ago when we played well but Philips scored in injury time
My first visit to St Andrews

From Beeb:
  • Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has faced Birmingham boss Garry Monk more often without winning than any other manager in the Championship (P3 W0 D1 L2).

You know me, I always attempt to see the silver lining in the cloud, and I’m currently trying desperately hard to be positive about our chances of promotion, but........

Tomorrow night, I fear a 2-1 or 3-1 defeat. Birmingham at Birmingham, with Monk in charge. Leeds back up to 2nd. :(

I was hoping to be proved wrong. Oh well there's a first time for everything

Che is a disrespectful entitled bellend and I don’t want the fucker anywhere near our side. Don’t care how many he’s scored

I’d be surprised given how quickly Madine was able to repair his standing among our fans if Adams wasn’t swiftly able to win everyone over in the event he returned.

This is of course all fairly academic, as with the money he’s likely to command and the interest in him already we probably won’t be going anywhere near him.

Adams is one of those players who seems a miles better prospect than he is because he's a young English player. He's had a good season but I think he'd be absolutely dog meat in the prem.

I can't imagine we English massively hyping up young English players as soon as they show promise, and by doing so applying massive amounts of pressure on them to perform at such a young age?!

We were slightly fortunate to come away with a 0-0 draw at the Lane early in the season. Think they hit the woodwork on at least one occasion. I recall they weren't particularly pretty to watch but were very well organised with some physically big players. Other words that spring to mind are obstinate and awkward.

We'll do very well to win there.

Cheers Roy. Since when did che Adams suddenly turn into Lionel messi??.
Talk about over hyping a player just because he’s English!!!. UTB ⚔️⚔️⚔️

He’s a good player is Adams but that’s all he is, he’s not a great player and we have better players in our team. With Madine back can only pile more pressure on their back line. They are more worried about us so play our normal game

They were very similar to Middlesboro for the first 60 minutes. We were all over them for most of the game.
They sat back and parked the bus, our players were camped in their half but we struggled to create a single chance.
They seem to have loads of giant defenders who were physical, every time we crossed the ball or had a corner we had no chance.

Then, around the 60-70 minute mark we ran out of steam and looked clueless.
Birmingham came alive and went into attack mode, seemed a deliberate tactic by Monk to let us have all the ball and wait for us to run out of ideas against their well drilled defence. Then they pushed players forward, quick on the break and had 2 or 3 great chances, think they hit the woodwork twice. We looked really tired towards the end and were desperately holding on in the last 5 minutes.

Che Adams what can you say he came to us as a raw youngster playing non league after Forest had fucked him off and he looked a very good prospect. Then he was called up to go play with the young England team, he came back from that little break with the young premiership starlets thinking he was the next big thing having learned how to dive as soon as a defender got near him. Reality was he was a diving cheating little bastard who thought he could go out on the piss and miss training. He ended up an overweight young lad who had lost his pace and could no longer take the ball past a defender, we were right to sell him when we did he was of no use to us. His first season at Brum after slagging off is old club was not very productive either but fair play to him he seems to have got his head right now and his career is back on track. He is capable of giving us problems if we don't watch him. At the other end I think we can cause them lots of problems too they gifted Leeds some great chances which fortunately fell to that wanker Bamford, I can't see Billy letting them get away with it if they gift us chances.

Well one thing's for certain, if Adam’s has read some of the OTT comments about him on this thread he’ll be well up for it tomorrow night.

That’s EXACTLY what I was thinking. All this talk abahht never ever beating Monk’s teams, I though it was going to be nowt in a dozen games at the very least. What’s the next headline? Monk’s only managed to beat a Wilder team twice....EVER! :D

So we’re pining to bring back Adams , the player who was banging down Wilders door asking for a transfer / pay increase , renowned for work ethic .. did this info emirate from a story beginning once upon a time in Makebeliveville ?
Yeh will be a tough game but we’re a little better equipped now than our last meeting , so who knows maybe us under dogs from Sheffield might sneeekna result ?

A win here would be massive but I would be happy with a point - especially if Weeds lose or draw tonight :D

It will be a very difficult game and a close one at that. I'm going for a feisty 1-1 (Adams & Sharp)

UTMB!
Surely that would be a 2-0 win to us wouldn't it?

Edit: Aaahh sh*t. I never could keep up with all that transfer bollox. :(
