I rather like our boring style of play. Defend, defend, defend and then occasionally, very occasionally getting over the halfway line. I like 5-4-1 as a formation.

I'm guessing the "boring" is referring to the draw rather than the style of play and it's hard to argue with. A club like Barnet will be hoping for a team from the top of the PL for a third round draw. We shouldn't forget that recent history makes it difficult for us to argue that we aren't a L1 club.

but this should be straight forward, looking forward to abit of variety nice to not get a team from same division that we usually get. like Ipswich reserves & preston reserves last season & barnet I think they are midtable conference we are 3rd in championship. but like in any FA Cup match, if they get a opening goal & they play game of their life. anything is possible. look at then non league Lincoln 2 years ago they knocked out Brighton who were in similar position to us & Lincoln also knocked out burnley​

I didn't read it as "they play boring football", which in the context of the draw from a Barnet perspective doesn't make sense. What do they care whether we play exciting football? They want a glory tie and/or to progress. I can understand that the tie, from their point of view, can be seen as boring. They've reached the third round and haven't drawn a "glory" PL club, neither have they drawn a minnow they could seriously hope to beat. It's not going to go down in their history as a memorable tie, nor be noticed by the watching world, unless they do beat us.

The club shouldn't charge for RDs 3 & 4 of the FA Cup and RDs 1, 2 & 3 in the league cup. That would see 16-18k there on Sunday. But a really can't be arsed to pay money out for it
