And half our supporters can’t even spell the names of our players. Other supporters will call us Sheffield, just like some of us say ‘Bristol’ and many will misspell ‘Bramall’, just like Sharpe, Lundstrum, etc. Isn’t it time we got over it?“... our first ever visit to Brammall Lane”

Although...whenever he gets on the end of the ball in the box it always seems to be on target and travelling at about 80 mph when it leaves his foot.I know our style confuses people but Bash in not a striker
Just collecting some view now and people are definitely going to think I have a vendetta against him. I'm amazed how even the Bolton fans are slagging him off.
I'm guessing the "boring" is referring to the draw rather than the style of play and it's hard to argue with. A club like Barnet will be hoping for a team from the top of the PL for a third round draw. We shouldn't forget that recent history makes it difficult for us to argue that we aren't a L1 club.

I didn't read it as "they play boring football", which in the context of the draw from a Barnet perspective doesn't make sense. What do they care whether we play exciting football? They want a glory tie and/or to progress. I can understand that the tie, from their point of view, can be seen as boring. They've reached the third round and haven't drawn a "glory" PL club, neither have they drawn a minnow they could seriously hope to beat. It's not going to go down in their history as a memorable tie, nor be noticed by the watching world, unless they do beat us.I think he must have watched the Sheffield Derby this season and got us mixed up, he probably thinks we play in Blue and White stripes. Hope he doesn't end up at S6 on Sunday.
There would be accusations of copying that shower from S6 to contend with as didn't they use Warhurst as an emergency striker and that's without counting on Madine signing ...pork talk will be in meltdown.Cheers Roy.
Absolutely love the idea of Bash playing up front. ARE YOU LISTENING WILDER?
Just to qualify that, because it sounds a bit arrogant, by "seriously hope to beat" I mean "be expecting to beat". They can, of course, hope to beat us.I didn't read it as "they play boring football", which in the context of the draw from a Barnet perspective doesn't make sense.
