Looks like perhaps we're doing what we did a lot under Hecky, whereby when there are two games close together, the press conference for the second game is done straight after the first.

Nothing to see

I don't expect a presser tomorrow, but who knows...the people who usually let me know some info are all on leave until 6th Jan

From the club website...

Chris Wilder is backing his players to react positively to the disappointment of losing to Burnley on Boxing Day, when the Blades host West Brom on Sunday lunchtime.

He remarked: "Our recovery from disappointment is something right the way through the season that we're going to have to deal with, but we've lost three in 23 games, so we quickly move on."

The boss revealed an illness bug also affected preparations before the loss to the Clarets.

He added: "Rhian played through illness and there is something gone through the group. Norrington-Davies went down ill on Wednesday night, so quite a lot of things have gone against us."

So no update on Souttar essentially until tomorrow.

I expect the following players to be back for West Brom - just a guess:

Norrington-Davies
Shackleton

Rest remain out for various reasons.

It was the op of this very thread (Cappy), who posted it, and he is normally spot on.

But anyone who saw the state Souttar was in when he left the field, should know it was a serious injury.
Yeah, that's what I was told. Complete tear. At the time I was told, he'd had a scan but was due to have another, don't know exactly when. I said, "that'll be 9 months or so won't it" and the reply was he will be lucky to be back in the autumn.

The club need to keep the fans better informed, no mention of a bug pre match etc

Tbf it was mentioned in the interview after the Cardiff game, when explaining why shacks didn’t make the squad and why robbo came off

I might agree if we do well in the window but if not then nah we will finish 5th or 6th due to the lack of squad depth
Or Wilder persisting with slow paced, methodical, football as we have seen over the last few games. The JTW signings will be crucial
