Yeah the local press are trying to create a bit of drama with the Reda non-story. Not helped thanks to that tosser Pearson mentioning him again.

I generally like Giddings, and he certainly got a better tune out of Wilder than the other RS presenters, but a couple of the questions today weren't the best. Hecky doesn't half get grumpy at some lines of questioning though does he?

Just me but I thought his questioning around Khadra was a little potent, but nothing more than that.

Nowt wrong with the questions in some respects, just a change from usual. I can see why PH didn't like the question, I can see why it was asked.

It's also a non-story at the minute. Unless Reda shits on Hecky's desk, of course he's going to stay here in January. As PH mentioned, we've very few senior players available, so he offers us a body over the coming weeks. Plus we can't send him back until then anyway! I can't imagine Hecky saying 'Yep Andy, it's not really worked so far, we'll send him back 1st Jan' when we've got another 6/7 games we'll need him in the squad for.

All true. Maybe Hecky ought to have found another way of saying it though. Because saying we won't be sending him back in Jan just because we simply need the bodies isn't much of a positive endorsement of a player. But on the other hand Reda does need to up his game somewhat although granted he's been played out of position for most of his time with us so far.

I agree the line of questioning was looking for a story… but it can also help to put the story to bed.

However it can still be twisted around from no issue to something more sinister

Burnley is a good team, but they're not without faults and are pretty susceptible at the back. Midfield, I think, wins tomorrow, as our defence is back to its most vital other than LB.

McBurnie and Iliman upfront, Doyle back in midfield and Anel, Egan and JLT at the back should be strong enough for us.

Wingbacks need to be at their best, though. That's my main worry.

Giddiness is just one of several who are asking the questions so I guess managers get a bit fed up, especially if the question is repeated or trivial
