I had a quick search on it and it looks pretty nostalgic in a nice coastal setting up there in Northumberland,.. im guessing you've been a visitor there?

I've stayed at Saltburn for a few days but didn't make the "hillclimb". Would like to this year if it is on, but likely camp or stay in Redcar. Accommodation seems very expensive in Saltburn. Oh and what really surprised me is, it's a popular surfing venue, on the East coast!!

It's not as far as Northumberland, it's in Cleveland, if it is the same "Saltburn" I am thinking of (Saltburn by the Sea). It is a lovely little place.

Yep, I never realised that, I was there on Saturday, and all the public toilets, on the sea front, had signs up saying "no wet suits, no surf boards", so I guess people take up a ton of space inside, with their boards, getting changed.

Oh, and great fish and chips on the sea front.

A relatively brave move but if you do end up in Redcar make sure you stop off at Pacitto's for a lemon top. Used to be a highlight of a trip to visit my great-grandma; a walk down the bracing seafront, possibly stopping off to look at the oldest lifeboat in the world again, then an ice cream.

Me, I read an eBook on it a few years ago, because I realised I knew virtually nothing about it. It's heavy going and often runs opposite to everything you have learned previously. Particles that can be in two places at once, particles that don't decide if they are in one state or another, until you look at them. Particles that are actually "waves". "Entanglement", where one particle will always do the opposite of another particle, even if millions of miles away, they just "know" what the other is doing.

Crazy stuff.

Oh, and I am interested in Northern Soul as well, along with a load of other things.
