Done will make not a blind bit of difference unless we have a midfield that is actually big and strong and capable of controlling a game whether through skill or power. Sharp and Salmon are way better than this standard - we are just not giving them enough quality ball or support.
The same will happen when Brayford is fit and ready to play.

Without the correct midfield, we will continue to be nothing more than average - again.

You mean those nasty fans who pay thousands watching this shower of shite all over the country had the nerve to jeer and boo at the end after watching yet another gutless performance devoid of passion, effort or quality? I hope our players weren't too upset, poor things.

Well then bench one of the strikers (preferably Sharp for me but I'm aware that's basically heresy amongst some here) and play an extra centre mid, ideally Reed as the most advanced of the three to do so. That'd require Adkins to bench another of his signings so it's not going to happen, but it's a very simple shift that would actually work.

Besides, everybody scores against their old club and Flynn's apparently injured again so someone has to play wide.
