I thought he was solid today, did everything you would want except get the goal he deserved.

That's the thing though, he rarely ever does.

He had a decent game today and he set up one of the goals also, could have or should have scored a goal also. Think Porter is playing well with Baxter, but its not working as well with Miller which is surprising me.

It amazes me that we've waited two and a half seasons now for him to score a goal. Was today his 50th game for us without a goal? It's getting ridiculous.

He's rattled in 3 this season, one from open play. I think he might be off to Brazil at this rate. Shearer was pretty good, but..............

Beginning to wonder if Hill has shagged someone Sitters is close to? Hill was (in my humble opinion of course) excellent today, as were most.

Yep ,Hill had a decent game today ,only one bad performance for me ,that was Long.

Apart from failing to give Collins support when he (Collins) received a pass from Long's goal kick in the 1st half (Collins had to look for someone else to pass the ball to and had a go at Doyle for not giving him support), about 5 minutes later when Tranmere had the ball on the left, Doyle went over to Baxter to give him advice on where he should be and that left some space for a Tranmere player to run onto the space (where Doyle had left to come over to Baxter) and Doyle was well behind him when the Tranmere player made a pass to try and set up a chance, also a bit later on he lost an aerial challenge in the centre circle to an opponent who wasnt much taller than him..... ok we won 3-1 and I am in a good mood to say that Doyle was ok!!

Porter had a good second half after an anonymous first half.

The side looked much better second half and played some of the best football this season.

if we can go unbeaten in 8 and be 5th in the form table with what mant think is a sub standard squad , imagine how we will fly with some new blood , 8 unbeaten with Doyle and Porter,theres a surprise
