If this is true then surely the lad Jervis will join permanently? Whilst not sorry to see the back of Porter, I don't think he deserves some of the vitriol aimed at him. He's a limited player but puts in a shift. He got us to Wembley, and improved our performance there measurably when he replaced Cresswell.

According to Weir Jervis is no longer here as we have a lot of options with regard to strikers now Miller is nearly fit cant see Porter going out for a month making much difference

He did indeed get us to Wembley and I can't think of many others in the team who could have finished a cross dropped straight on his head, from two foot out !

According to Weir Jervis is no longer here as we have a lot of options with regard to strikers now Miller is nearly fit cant see Porter going out for a month making much difference

We won't have Marlon King against Coventry and we don't have another striker who can play the lone striker role.
The options are therefore to postpone the match, change formation or let Taylor have another crack at the job he's proved to be unsuitable for. I think Weir will choose to do the latter (if he's still here by then).
