Wendy's desperation becomes increasingly obvious and pointless as far as we're concerned.

They seem to think that they can carefully plot out how the end of season games will fall, enabling a meeting of the mighty Blades vs the gormless nobs simply to satisfy their desperate need to show that they're not as far behind United as they've clearly fallen. The underlying shock they've experienced since we've overtaken them, add to which the fact that they had six years advantage on us, in which they had every opportunity to get their act together and make promotion a reality, would be risible if it wasn't such a depressing reality for the pig's incompetence.

Any Wednesdayite who thinks they'll make the play-offs wants to look back on their game v Brentford who were truly dire and gifted both goals to Wednesday. Preston and Forest, on the other hand, have a genuine chance of getting in there and have beaten top teams of late to justify that.

I think that is extremely unlikely. They're basically playing a game of who blinks first with the EFL by bringing in more players, and seemingly the EFL have not only blinked, but closed their eyes completely.

Just wishful thinking on my part.......I'd be very suprised if punishment (if any) was a pts deduction.
