The official fans went in an executive box in the John street stand and about 30 more turned up who went in the lower Bramall lane stand :D

Yeah Wimbledon is smallest i seen.

Crewe also have brought some terrible numbers too, counted about 60 once.

Smallest united away following i been at would be Gillingham away. It was a Sunday - midday - sky game!!! 400 travelled down.

Sunday 27th October 2004 13:00 kick off... there were a few more than 40 though :)

where did you get 40 from?

Sorry... think I'm a bit blind today and didn't see the extra 0 :)

Think smallest I've been in is Stockport away. They were still using the terrace and there was definitely enough room to conga :D

Ah its ok:p

I went to stockport once too, think there was about 1,200 there though.

Wimbeldon game for me

I can remember onme game cant remember which the away team scored and the fans ddnt know so we clapped to make em notice:p

Smallest away support HAS to be our last game at Brighton! I sneaked up a tree at the Withdean, and had to stay quiet as NO away supporters were allowed! ;-) Officially there were none, but I think a dozen or so got around the rules, one way or another..

Why were supporters not allowed i cant remember this game

went to luton town in the early 90s when away fans were banned . stood on lutons kop , when utd scored we found there were blades cheering all round the ground !:)

No away supporters allowed. by FA rules, as there's no segregation possible. The ground is basically your average local leisure centre footy pitch!! There's a stand for about 500 attached to the leisure centre, and room for a couple of thousand on three other sides. Hardly possible to call them stands, as they're more like a few bits of scaffold, with some sticks & glue holding it all together.....;)

There's a load of trees on the bank behind the far side of the ground, & I climbed up one of these when the refused me entry.. I even tried to say I was a local, but got rumbled, so headed for the bushes, so to speak... he he he..

This ain't the smallest away following we've ever seen at the Lane, but I think only 56 Millwall fans turned up last season.

Do you mean the old Goldstone Ground?

Because Rotherham have got an allocation of 800 for the Withdean tomorrow and I was sure the Blades have taken fans down there for the last couple of seasons we were in the same league :)

The only reason I didn't go last season was because it was a Tuesday night and Foxy couldn't get away from work quick enough and I know Mousey has been before...

Sorry Linz, you're right... It was the season before, definitely a weekend game anyway, as I headed down from London (where I live), unplanned really.. I think they had a ban on away supporters all that season, but maybe not.. Brighton police decision probably.

I was going to say always been tickets allocated for Brighton for as long as i can remember.

Always seen the numbers in the programme for away following.

It's alright... it's usually me that has senior moments :D

i think the worst away following i've been in was norwich away a few years back, sunday live tv game when browny scored a screamer but lost 2-1. 300 turned up i think. i seem to remember cardiff away a few years back was poor, also on tv, 250 was official figure and we got slated for it by the pigs.

Wimbledon is the worst i've seen at the lane :)
