I wonder if we will create enough chances for Brewster to score lots. I hope we do. I really want him to do well.
I went with Sharp as his movement creates chances or Ndiaye as he too has the ability to make his own chances.

I mean it certainly wasn't 12 years ago. It was 3 seasons ago.
It's your opinion regarding Norwood, I was meaning when shooting. Norwood definitely doesn't strike it cleaner when shooting. Hopefully we'll see plenty of evidence of Rhian's technique this season. Just look at the goal against Blackburn away for a sample. Not sure who else in our side hits it like that.
In the 2nd Premier league season we were awful to a man. Granted, he definitely should have scored, but I'm certainly not holding any of our strikers accountable for the majority of that season. It was just horrendous as a whole. We could have had Haaland upfront and we'd still have been shite.
Fast forward to the beginning of last season and Slav not playing him as a striker either. Seem to remember Swansea away where he was pretty much playing wing back.
Hecky comes in, puts faith in him, plays him through the middle (with support and creativity) and we start seeing glimpses of an exciting future. Then cut-down by a bad injury and season is over.
There's a lot to be optimistic about with Rhian. I've far from given up on him (wish I could say the same about our other big money striker).
I agree the potential is there but I’m yet to be convinced. It’s funny most of the arguments you used could also apply to mcburnie who scored loads more at Swansea 3 or 4 years ago. I’m yet to be convinced by either of them. Ps in terms of shooting Billy strikes it better for me.

Mcburnie had a terrific season with Swansea, but most of his goals were all the same, rarely far from the 6 yard line. As a footballer, we've seen over three seasons now he's not technically very good. He can't strike a ball cleanly, or certainly hasn't in a blades shirt.
I love Billy, blades legend, scored an amazing amount of goals through his career, yet he's not actually that good at striking the ball. Feels weird to say it but watch a compilation of his goals.
Don't get me wrong there's a few exceptions that are peaches, but a hell of a lot are scuffed. The issue for goalkeepers is even when he scuffs them, they're still exactly where they need to be. It can't be luck to score the amount of goals he has. Positioning and speed of thought are his attributes that have helped him become the goalscorer that he is.
We've not seen enough of Brewster to be totally convinced or totally unconvinced. I'm optimistic though, as are quite a few others. We could have an exciting, young top striker on our hands.

He was scoring at a sort of 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 rate towards the end of last season so it will be no shock to see him into double figures over 40 games next time
Might just be a shock to keep him past January if he's doing well, but you never know, if we were top 2 for example
I certainly hope he does well I just don’t know where people think 20-25 goals will come from based on the last few years of his career? If he gets 10 league goals that will be a big improvement.
As for Billy I really can’t see that a hell of a lot are scuffed based on every compilation I’ve seen?!! For example almost all his pens are sweetly struck, giving the keeper no chance. He does poach goals excellently and his movement is exceptional though I agree.

If he does then I think he should be clear in the scoring chart for us. He was starting to look really good prior to his injury and teams were unable to cope with him at times, resorting to cynical fouls to stop his advances.
We also have Ndiaye who is getting better with every game and looks like he will have a good season with us and can hopefully link up well with Brewster and create a fair deal of chances. If Berge stays then that's another avenue for creating chances.
The introduction of Khadra also gives us someone similar to MGW and he will hopefully be given freedom to roam around the final third.
This, on paper gives us a very mobile attack. Hopefully it will be potent enough.
For the top scorer, I have gone with Brewster as I think (if fit) he will play the majority of games but anyone writing Billy off, does so at their peril!!

I don't think any of them have got any more than 8 goals in them.
You have to create chances, get the threaded passes, have people who can cross and who can open up opportunities. With the current lot we have a longball showpony, Fleckyll and Hide and Mr Nesh. Whoever is playing up top is slave to whatever comes their way, if that. And more as likely, we'll spend too long trapped in the crossing zone as teams shut us down with ease.
For us to be promoted, we need one player to be on 20+ and at least two others to be on 10+. Not a fucking chance whilst we are playing Wilderlite.

That takes some believing. Whilst he was showing signs of improvement, he doesn’t seem to have the awareness or fox-in-the-box like qualities that’s going to get him 15-20 goals. I do think he’ll become a regular starter for us though.
If Ndiaye can build on his breakthrough season, I can see him bagging 12-15 goals. He scored a variety of goals last season and missed some good chances too.
Billy will contribute too, and I think we’ll have a better spread of goals from midfield and the back.
