With 10 games left against teams in the main who have something to play for we may struggle to get too many more.
Key opposition players who were injured are now back and the momentum has been lost.
My estimate is 9 more points to give us a total that few would have expected last August.

Nah... 15 at least!... This team just keeps proving everybody wrong!... They never let us down!

It will probably be hot and talented though we are there are better players in the league.
Our pressing game may not be so effective.

No one knows but my football head says more. I fancy us against villa, Newcastle, burnley, everton and Southampton. Not saying we'll win all them but will probably get a result against someone else. I'm going 16 points.

Why was it so effective before, do you think the heat will do us?

We will not be as fit in the first few matches and the heat will be a negative factor.
That said it is the British summer so it could be ideal !

We’ve got the best manager in the country, if we need to adapt our tactics, it won’t be a problem.

I can't see it, we haven't changed our system yet and I don't expect us too now. We will be the fittest side back which complimenets our system well.

#Still waiting for us to get sussed out.

Not convinced you've learnt anything at any time from any Chris Wilder pre or post match interview ever.

We're gonna finish third.

Beat Villa and we're only 7pts off Leicester, with them to play

The countdown to kick off has begun so let’s shit ourselves and fear the worst I”m predicting no points at all
or even negative points could be possible.

People seem to dislike when we call each other out but using that word against Sheffield United makes you sound like a wednes proper rum lad.
We lost momentum every time we got beaten especially against the run of play v Newcastle but came back every time.

You do realise every other team in the league is in the same situation?

Villa will be tough, and well up for it too. It’s their big chance to move out of the bottom 3. It’s a game in hand so a “free hit” for them.
Mginn fit to partner grealish maybe ?
I hope you quote me on 18th June.
After we have won but I’m not sure at all.

Don't forget when we beat them because of the lay off it will be their worst game of the season (maybe not Southampton unless we put 10 past them).

Thankfully our manager and players will have a better attitude than that. We're playing all the teams around us, it's a great opportunity to beat them and secure a place in Europe or the champions League.

My take on it is most of the premier Division primadonas, that's players and managers, don't fancy returning in the current climate. In comparison I get the impression our manager and players can't wait to get stuck in.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought we'd been playing all season against teams who have something to play for? 🤔

So the reason we've done so well then is because those teams had key opposition players out injured? Ah...OK - that explains it then. So it's basically been easy for us then, nothing much to do with us being a very good football team, one of the best in the Premiership?

I think you need to re-think this mate - "give your head a wobble" - as seems to be the catchphrase.

It's entirely possible that we could resume the season and wonder what the hell has happened to us. But it's far more likely that we'll continue to average a similar points haul over the remaining games, that currently stands at an average of 1.5 points per game x 10 - another 15 points.

Excuse me for not listening to those predicting 9 points etc.

We've heard it all before from the pessimists..........

'we'll be lucky to get in the play-offs never mind automatic,....... 'getting rid of Duffy is a big mistake', ........'think that's a huge error letting Besic go back'.

Chris Wilder, his staff and the players will all be going for 30 points. That'll do for me.

I love playing devil’s advocate, although I am not sure that all I said is not without some basis.
My heart is around the 15 point area.

I'd got us down for 4/5 wins, 2 draws 3/4 losses, im hoping I'm right.
