Doesn't get any easier for rest of November or even December for that matter. Some very tough games but easily our hardest months of the season. If we're still up amongst the top 3 or 4 by Xmas I'll start to believe.

I'm going for 9 points.

I haven't quite fully got my head around this one, but if we had lost to Watford they would be joint top, if we had lost to Norwich they would be joint 2nd, and if we'd lost to either Swansea or Derby they would be joint 7th.

So, had those 4 results all gone that way, we would be in the relegation zone but could legitimately claim we'd had a really tough start, having played 4 of the top 7... I think??
Yes, I think so. It should be a better guide as more games are played.

Probably the pessimistic Blade that’s still in me but I’d be happy with 2 points from our next two away games. Boro & Leeds away are probably 2 of the toughest away games we will have.

I think they’re both undefeated at home but I’ve not checked the results so I might be wrong

Leeds lost 1-0 at home to Burnley a few games ago. Not sure about Boro.

Leeds (A) - 0
Boro (A) - 3
Stoke (H) - 3
Blackburn (A) - 1
Bristol C (A) - 3

On the list I saw , Anel & Hamer are on 4 but Souza is only on 3 which surprised me.
Souttar on 2.
My (imperfect) memory says Hamer has done some unnecessary fouls but Anel has been a bit unlucky.
I think Souza, Hamer and Anel were on 4 , that's why Hamer was "rested" on Saturday. Anel beat the floor in frustration when he picked up the 5th booking. So the Anel/Souttar partnership is missing for the dirties.

On sky it has them all on 4 booking unless its not been updated

All now on 4

I think, in a twisted way, this is a favourable fixture run given where we are in the league.

Gets some very difficult games out of the way in a tight period. If we come out of it in the top 6 and in touching distance of 2nd then that'd be brilliant.

Means we should have some very favourable fixture runs in the run in and home advantage in big games too.

We look like a team/squad capable of getting routine/expected wins at home and picking enough points away to hit the 2pts per game ratio.

Leeds - L
Boro - D
Stoke - W
Blackburn - D
Bristol City - W

With my pessimistic head on this is also my predictions.

However wouldn’t surprise me if we draw at Leeds. Really starting to believe we have the best defence in the league and will keep loads of clean sheets.

Even away at Leeds and Boro can only see them scoring 1 goal. Both games could easily end up 1-1.

Leeds - Defeat

Boro - Bore Draw

Stoke - Comfortable 2-0, similar performance to Saturday

Blackburn - Defeat

Bristol City - Scrape an away win

7 points from a tough 5

Do I want us to stay unbeaten as long as we can - yes.

Would I be happy with 7-9 points from the next 5 - absolutely (especially if we don`t lose to Leeds/Boro)

Do I want us to go into the game against "them lot" unbeaten - not so sure - feels like tempting fate to me.

Hate to be "that guy" but usually am over a pint in the pub, although I get the OP and the post being about the next 5 the big test is the next game. Take one at a time. Friday night's game is our 10th game of the season and usually unless a complete shitshow, your 1st 10 are a good indicator give or take a few places where we will end up come the end of the season. Beating a couple of local teams is always a bonus but we need to concentrate on ourselves. Would definitely settle for a point away at Leeds but the season doesn't end there if we come away on the wrong end.

Souza tried to get his booking before the Luton match and failed which most of the time he seems to be very able at racking up the cards

Well I fancy us to turn the dirties over. They are still a bit up and down under Farke and the bottlejob vibes have kicked in early this season. Whilst they are ok up front, they will still have a job on scoring against us and their own defence seems flaky at best. I think the home advantage will work against them too, if we get on top.

After that I am not sure, but I can see us losing our first game by the time we have finished those fixtures.

I will for 3 wins and a draw, 10 points.
Well, looks like one of us is going to have the piss taken out of us Friday neet Stretchy!
Still hope it's me though mate ;)

Point at Leeds and Boro, beat Stoke, point at Blackburn and Bristol, anything could happen against pigs.

I stopped sending the pools in long ago,
I was rubbish at it;..:tumbleweed:
So I'll just keep my fingers crossed,

it's worked so far ;)👍
