It certainly will be an indicator of our potention going into Xmas.

I am major league happy going into this international break with the state of the club as it is and all the hard work everyone has put in.

As far as the state of the takeover, I realized that the key investors are mainly from Cleveland, OH, which is only an hour or so away from where I live in SW Ohio, so I sent an email to Steve Rosen letting him know that a SUFC fan and ex-academy guy lives only an hour or so south of him. They are definately financially sound investors.

Maybe he will invite me to dinner and for advice one weekend!!!!

What should I tell him if he invites me to dinner?

To sort the ticket fiasco out

Whoever their manager is, Coventry have a very good squad for this level. They could easily beat us if they're confident, just like Sunderland, Baggies and an inform Millwall could.

We won't play well in every game, and if we don't play well against those we're unlikely to nick a win like we did against Bristol City.

In all competitions, away at Millwall since we were promoted from L1, we have:
W4, D2, L4

So maybe you should vote for 15pts ;)

Ha! My Millwall record since 2016 is pretty woeful:
March 2016 - Lost 1-0
August 2016 - Lost 2-1
December 2017 - Lost 3-1
Jan 2020 - Won 2-0 (Cup)
Feb 2022 - Lost 1-0
Feb 2023 - Lost 3-2

8 points for me , you could juggle a few of those results around .. that’s assuming we’ve got a full complement of squad

Coventry (A). D
Oxford U (H). W
Sunderland (H). W
WBA (A). D
Millwall (A). L

Interesting to see that many Blades are concerned about the Millwall and WBA games.

WBA have managed to score a total of 4 goals in their last 8 games, and Millwall haven’t scored more than a single goal in a game since September. These are hardly potent attacking sides that we’re facing, and we’re a side who scarcely allow the opposition to get a shot on target let alone score. And, crucially, we now we have Souttar who makes Jake Cooper look like a little boy.

So, unless we click up front, a couple of goalless draws looks the more likely outcome in those 2 games.

Not too concerned about WBA, more about Cov, our woeful form out of international breaks and also their new manager bounce doesn’t bode well, so I think we’ll probably lose at Cov, then a win at home against Oxford.

Depends on injuries. If there's no Arblaster or Moore then it might be a bit of a struggle.

I'd go:

Coventry (A) W
Oxford U (H) W
Sunderland (H) D
WBA (A) D
Millwall (A) D

were in a brilliant position and lets not forget after that run of games we will have played 2 more away games than home games

Totally depends if we have Moore or not. Too early to call. Let's just keep basking in the Sunday afterglow for now!
Is that the same Moore that some slag off and says brings fuck all?!

with cooper, our back 4 + oli & Vini we ain’t giving many goals away

ty and Moore up top supported by Gus & JSR will bring goals

Plus Souttar & Anel are due one

Reckon there’s a pasting coming up for someone

Not sure I buy this someone is getting a stuffing idea but look at the times Moore hasn't played and how we just can't keep the ball high up.

Just had a look at the upcoming fixtures to get my parking booked and there are 11 games in 42 days from Coventry on 23/11 to Watford on 4/1, before we have the FA Cup 3rd round.

That's a game every 3.8 days, or a game every 92 hours. Love this league

Pep and Klopp would scream at that amount of games 😂

8 points is my guess

Coventry (A) draw
Oxford U (H) win
Sunderland (H) win
WBA (A) loss
Millwall (A) draw

The Oxford forum league table doesn’t know about the -2. Could be 5 points clear on Saturday 🤣❤️

Got to be looking at all 15 points when I seen the title I thought the big boys Burnley, etc. All the team’s we play in the next 5 are going to be mid table max Coventry,Oxford come on please id be mortified if we don’t get 12-13 points

8 points is my guess

Coventry (A) draw
Oxford U (H) win
Sunderland (H) win
WBA (A) loss
Millwall (A) draw

My prediction
Coventry 3pts
Oxford 3pts
Sunderland at home 3pts
WBA 1 point
Millwall 3 pts
13 points Happy Christmas
Sign a bit of quality in Jan not much coz the young boys are winners and have been tearing the u21s apart for the last few years. Ryan one is my dark horse to shine

Love the optimism. Think we will struggle against Sunderland. Would expect a win against Oxford. Draws against Coventry and WBA. Millwall will take a draw, all depends on how these team kick on from breaks. Don’t think our record is to good, following a break

It's locked in. Let's see how we go. Interesting that over 60% of people think we will still achieve at least a 2ppg average.

UTB!

8 points.

Can’t see us winning Cov or Sunderland

Mundle will be a huge loss for S'land. Can see them starting to fall away soon.

That said, also think 8-9 points which would be a decent with 3 of the next 5 away.

I hope the rest of your preparations are as accurate!
Edit, this was in relation to an earlier prediction.

Hmm can see it being a tough 4 games now. Forgot to post but my guess was (and now revised)

Coventry 1 pt
Oxford 3pts - I'll take a scrappy 1 nil win with 4-5 changes tbh.
Sunderland at home 1 point
WBA 1 point
Millwall 1 point

So 7. Unless Moore returns and the knocks from yesterday are minor, we may have a very challenging period.
