Saw 'All Things Sheffield United' ask on Twitter how many points from next 5 but as that includes Luton, thought i would adjust it down to next 4 games....

Hull vs Sheffield United (A)
Sheffield United vs Derby (H)
Portsmouth vs Sheffield United (A)
Sheffield United vs Swansea (H)

Not the hardest set of fixtures, so I would suggest nothing less than 7 points would be acceptable.

8 points would be a 2ppg average which is promotion form.

9,10 or 12 points would obviously be a very, very good return.

Surely we should win those 2 home games

The away games are harder, at worse draw with Hull and lose to Portsmouth.

So agree with you 7 points as a minimum but 8 points is more likely. Win both home games and draw both away games.

Draw at Hull, win the rest.

Reckon we’ll win at Pompey. Not the strongest championship squad and it looks like we’re bringing quite a decent amount of fans.

I'm going to go..

Hull: 0 pts
Derby: 3 pts
Portsmouth: 1 pt
Swansea: 3 pts

Think Hull have assembled a better squad then what they're showing and been difficult to break down.

Can see us dominating without success and then Hull nicking one on the break.

If we got 9 then that would mean a loss.......this forum would then go into meltdown, and calls for Wilder's head inevitably resurface.

If we don't get 13 points I'll be apoplectic with rage

I Still think we will be patchy up until the next break

So anything above eight is decent and keeps us the mix but I think we will get more

If we beat Hull (think that might be a draw) all 12.
Our midfield is too technical and knock the ball about too well to not give every team in this division problems. Game by game we get stronger at the back too, so if we take those early chances we could start smashing teams

Taken game by game, we could have them all. Wouldn't be surprised if we did.

I'll go with 10 and still unbeaten after 8 games.

I expect us to win them all but I also expected us to get a result against Newcastle at home last season obviously I have high expectations

L,W,D,W=7

Q, do we take any point deductions in to account as we go or just total them up after tekkova goes through tomorrow and EFL start chucking allegations about?

On current form Derby are the team to be most wary of, but I fancy that we should have enough at home.

I would be disappointed if we got less than 7 from this group, but I think 8-10 is very doable.

That would be ironic because that's pretty much the opposite of what Tim Walter's teams are usually known for. He bottled promotion for years in Hamburg because his football was all attack, but his team couldn't defend for shit.

He's also one of the most unpleasant managers I've ever seen, so a win in that game would give me extra satisfaction.
