Now unfortunately I've been moved down to Kent for this week so had to miss tonight’s game but I think as it stands we're down. Some will say that we've been down for a long time but you're talking to the bloke who chucked a bit of money on after finding us at 9/1 with a local bookies 4 days ago.

SO... I guess now the finger pointing can begin!

In my opinion this club has been in freefall since the removal of Neil Warnock and the appointment of Bryan Robson, sure there was moments of things turning around but in all honesty it’s been pretty much downhill BUT I simply can't help but look at Trevor Birch.

How can a man, who has overseen,

The biggest loss EVER to be achieved by Sheffield United

The biggest loss EVER to be achieved by a Championship club in a single financial year

The largest number of loan players ever to be used by Sheffield United

Followed by the second largest the season after despite promising to "learn lessons"

The worst win record as a % ever achieved by Sheffield United for a solid year

Relegation to the 3rd division for the first time in over 20 years

The highest employment of managers in single season

(IF rumours are to believed) The worst ST sales in over 9 years

The most disgusting, disrespectful and unimaginative ST sales campaign most of us have ever witnessed

Still be considered as the way forward in league where Chief Executives are generally considered as part of the club ie selling shirts in the shop etc etc.

When I say we're too big to be in that league I mean in the sense that our club and infrastructure is set up well beyond our means in League 1. What's going to happen now? We're generally in a mess and should we really trust the man (who for my opinion is a big contributor to our current predicament) to get us out of this mess.

Point fingers all ya want. Who's to blame?? The majority will say McCabe. It aint changing anything. We're down.
We'll see how much of a Blade McCabe is next season in giving everything to get us back up.

We're down YES without doubt but you can't have season like this and not review WTF has just happened.

OK... So you get emotional over YOUR opinion, thats fine but until you can prove it I'll take it as your opinion.

Can you prove to Gareth that you're not? Gareth.Needs.Proof.

What kind of a bookie gave you 9/1 when we were in the relegation zone???

That was when most were offering 6/1 as before Saturday we had a "slim chance". I thought it was worth a punt, I was wrong but I cleaned up at the National.

I cleaned up at last years Grand National but i've lost that and a bit more during the last year.

Were the losses anything to do with any of TB decsions? Unlikely property deal were pre Birch.

Who has been his sole appointment? Pembo and restructuring of the academy. McCabe wasnt involved in the interviews with Smith,Pembo or Hodges.
Who was the decsion maker with Adams? If it was Birch why was McCabe involved this time and why didnt Adams fit TBs outline for the job. We went from attractive football to a manger who wants to get it forward quickly.

Adams wasnt a Birch appointment, looking at Pembo if only it was, it has all the hallmarks of a McCabe one.

But hey at least Adams is a Blade.

McCabe's actions this season (and last, for that matter) have already shown how much of a Blade he is.

McCabe was there when everything was rosy, milking the spotlight and telling us how great he was. Now the shits hit the fan he is hiding under the table like a frightened child. Mans worse than Brearley.

No one person 100% responsible.

Blackwell comes the closest IMHO.

And don't give me that crap about how he had to sell and wheel and deal on a lower budget. Most managers have to do this and do a much better job than he did.

Any decent player was moved on by him and replaced, often at equivalent cost in terms of wages, for a vastly inferior alternative.

Oh yes Kevin Blackwell has left his mark.

And what a mark.

Yep , 7th, 3rd and 8th. What a loser.

Please explain why you think that will happen when there is no major creditor or debts and St Kev is the sole owner. This can only happen if McCabe allows SUFC to run up debts (at moment it's not costing him anything) and then can't service them. The club is then taken from him for nothing and I know he's made some pretty bad decisions but he's certainly not stupid.
McCabe will ensure SUFC lives within it's means staying virtually debt free to remain attractive to any potential investors or buyers.

Attractive in division 3 ? - with the rot still not stopped.

What do you think of it so far ?

Hmm....plastered all around the ground...

"True Blades are at the lane"............Which particular lane in Belgium is that then Kevin old chap?
