i just like the fact that we can debate over which strikers we prefere out of the many we have...its a good thing i guess

Everytime Webber got ball, Argyle seemed to swamp him off the ball.

But the thing about Webber for me yesterday was that got the ball in all areas of the park.

We need to get midfield sorted out (like we didn't know that), because that is what is letting us down, as well as the speed of attack. Plymouth were able to get everyone back and defend while we were faffing about deciding what to do with it. The decision seemed to be 'get it back to Bennett. Slowly.' most of the time.

Especially second half though, you're right Robbie. By the time Webber got the ball passed to him, rather than him fighting for it, there were six round him.

I'll agree with that, but it wasn't just when Webber was up front. For an awful lot of the time, he was on either wing trying to get the ball. We were at sixes and sevens all day in the middle yesterday.

Why were Carney and Keef coming inside so much, Keef in particular, making Webber go out wide, and then when he takes the wingers off, why did we start to play it wide?

It was a horrible performance, and one I hope I don't see again.

Pretty much any combination of strikers at the club would score goals if we'd got a midfield doing a proper job. It seems that we, on this thread at least, are doing the same as our manager and concentrating on completely the wrong element of the team.
