This seems to confirm SUFC have made a complete pigs ear of the whole process. Why have we put ourselves at a disadvantage? Fewer home fans, fewer away fans, genius. If it’s safety driven then just give Forest 2000 in the upper tier, and have more empty seats.

I’m fuming about this. I’ve had to move my seat and I know one season ticket holder who has missed out due to website repeatedly saying he had no account even though he had.
This is very poor from United. They get arguably the view in the ground for £9 cheaper than we’re paying. Not only that they’ve shown how little they respect season ticket holders in that part of the ground.

2000 at £29 you couldn't fuckin well make this up. What a joke of a club we are, we turf season ticket holders out of their seats to give Forest 3100+ tickets so it is quite obvious someone at SUFC have interpreted the rules wrong and thought Forest should get 10% of capacity rather than 2000 seats, the fucking 's need sacking. Not only that the home support has been cut by around 2000 seats so some who were there for the last match will miss out and the club loses money too.
This beggars belief I'm putting SUFC on my shit list of incompetent organisations.

Florist have applied the EFL requirements to the letter as did the Pigs, Sunderland and MK Dons. 2,000 each to away fans.

Meanwhile at SUFC blunder land some genius has decided to give Florist an away allocation far exceeding the requirements of 3,188 whilst accepting the minimum requirement from Florist. Huddersfield have been given only 1036 due to the small capacity at Kenilworth Road but have given the normal away allocation of 2,336 to Luton. None of these clubs have moved Home fans out of the stands reducing their Home capacity in the process.

SUFC may have been forced to put Florist in the BLUT by SAG but there is no way SAG would have insisted on increasing Florists allocation. We could and should have only given them 2,000. Its clear there has been no communication with the City Ground and the usual incompetent off field administration persists down at the Lane. There is no financial advantage in selling more tickets as ticket sales are split between the 4 clubs for the play offs.

At a time when the Manager, players and fans are busting a gut to get us over the line the comedy show brought to you by Bettis and Co persists. No wonder they've kept quiet.

Could this be to do with the ground layout? Maybe what has been given means there is no need for lost seats and additional stewarding costs? The stand's natural segregation potentially takes care of that.

If they are charging both sets of fans 29 and we are charging 20, then I applaud United and I'd say that's poor on Forest's part.

Maybe with the parachute payments were fine to take a lower figure because it is a drop in the ocean compared to our parachutes whereas Forest don't have the same and every penny counts? But these are bonus games and both clubs are run by multi-millionaires. Do they really need that much extra?

As the saying goes, 20 is plenty.

Leicester and Liverpool both got 4059 so they can clearly accommodate for more. The Liverpool article literally says that 4059 is a reduced capacity to afford a safe segregation zone.

Hopefully they release some more when we inevitably sell all of ours out within hours of them being on sale

Seems like the only plausible reason. Its not the FA Cup its the play offs.

It can't be to do with revenue because all monies go into one pot for all play off teams. It may be to do with SAG because thats the only reason we should disrupt our fans and move them out of their seats yet we could have limited Florist to 2,000.

What is really concerning is it may be nothing to do with SAG and we've interpreted the rules incorrectly. That would display a staggering level of incompetence if the case. The radio silence on this adds weight to that theory.
