Considering how well we've done in recent history to grow the fanbase with reasonable pricing and excellent kids prices, this seems such a regressive approach.

Tbf, it’s not just United - I had the same situation when contacting Forest TO and trying to get a ticket with the home fans for Forest away in November 2019 (as, despite being an ST holder and living overseas, I had no luck when I spoke to our ticket office hoping that I may be able to get a ticket in the away end). Had to go through 2 levels of the Forest TO up to a manager (as no purchase history with Forest) and finally persuaded them to sell me one on the basis of having to show both my Canadian drivers licence and air ticket to prove “that i wasn’t a Sheffield fan looking to buy a ticket”. And that probably only worked cos I’ve lost a lot of my Sheffield accent over the years…

Apart from the Forest game, the play offs have always been a bit of an anticlimax, a let down, a booby prize after failing when we expected and wanted better.

Not sure I agree with that. There was only 2009 and 2012 where we had a realistic chance of automatic promotion (and maybe 2013).

Every other year we were pretty much solidly in the play off race for the last couple of months.

I have printed them off and note that instead of a bar code they have a QR code.
Does the turnstile read these or should I be doing something more ?

I've just scraped the ticketing website with a script and I've counted 269 free seats.

Be interested to see if club announce a sell out just before k off, unless of course these all go soon ??

Mobile tickets.email address on your mobile phone and your mobile number. open the email on your phone, scroll down and you will then see the perforation mark.
No need to print it out. just make sure you see the perforation mark. as you get to the turnstile.put your mobile in the slot. you're in.

Just random looking whilst bored this morning.

The entire stadium was sold out about 30 minutes ago apart from the family corner, but every so often a section turns red again, indicating there are more tickets, just one or two because people are swapping.

It just seems strange to me that some people appear to be swapping from what are pretty decent seats, to really bad seats

This is what is so strange
An hour ago there were 18 tickets left in the entire stadium, all of them in the family corner

Now there are 28 random tickets in eight different sections of the stadium

Edit- 48 tickets left now ????
