The online queing sytem worked quite well and managed to purchase a ticket for the South stand, although only appeared to be a few single seats avaialble for this area.

Still think the overall criticism is valid. To devise a system that reduces the ground capacity, moves season ticket holders whilst at the same time increasing the allocation to away supporters giving them better seats in the process is not that good realy is it. Can't do anything about it now but now but fully get why fans are angry about it.

Season ticket holders seats are not guaranteed for cup games. This is a cup game.

Seems like non ST holders are happier than ST holders, which feels unjust and I’m saying that as a non ST myself.

As a non ST, you’ll have had more interactions with the website in buying tickets online. I personally don’t think it’s the most user-friendly website.

I had issues trying to buy tickets for the Reading game. I was unable to sign tickets to my wife and son, despite previously being on there as family. I attempted to delete them and re-add them but the site wouldn’t allow me to.

I did email the ticket office stating their names and DOB. As others have said, they did sort the issue out asap and we were fine. But I can understand why many might be frustrated by the process.

The site crashed twice for me. It was third time lucky as I managed to get to 2 seats together in the SS and a separate ticket a few rows down which I’ll occupy.

I hope everyone gets sorted. I feel quite lucky today but as a comms person, I think the club could have been much clearer and fairer to loyal fans who deserve better.

It is not a cup game and no requirements as such to deny ST holders at least a chance to purchase their normal seat which those in the Westfield Corner have not been able to do.

The EFL class it as a knockout competition with a trophy at the end of it.

If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck & quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck.

Two tickets sorted, in the South Stand for a change of scenery! Transaction as smooth as you like (makes a nice change) all printed off and screen shots on the phone for back up. Roll on satdy, oh and if I happen to be in your season ticket seat be nice 😜
If it's h block row LL I'll swap you for John street

Whatever it is or isn't it does not alter the fact that we have chosen to deny ST holders the chance to sit in their normal seat and give them to away fanss rather than been forced to by allocation reqirements of the competition. like is the case in the FA cup for example.

But what was the other option for the club here? If they HAVE to offer Forest the upper tier and more importantly the upper corner where ST holders do sit, what can the club do? They cannot exactly say to the ST holders in upper corner "Well shit, sorry you can't sit in your seat but we have seats in lower if you want them", whilst saying to every other ST holder on South Stand, Kop, John street etc etc. "Here you go guys, we've held your ST seat for you if you want it. Fuck those ST holders on upper corner"

Highly doubt the ticketing systems at the club could cope with that either.

Mobile tickets are very easy. obviously, give them your mobile number and your email address. let the know what stand you want to go in.
Make sure your email address is on your mobile phone and open your email. scroll down and you will see a perforated mark.
When you get to the turnstile make sure you can see the perforated mark. the put it under the slot in the turnstile. and your in.
Hope this helps fellow Blades.

Did they bow when Bert gave the directive?
Bert is Blades royalty. if you dint bow you will receive punishment-you will be sent to swilsbro.

The site is very slow at the moment it took me three attempts for the payment to go through.

They send you an email for the print@home took around 30 minutes to come through
Got there in the end to be fair! I had to cancel my transaction, which then took me back to the payment page and my tickets were still booked so just tried paying again and it worked. Phew!

Proper fans bought their tickets while they were in the pub after the game...... 🙄:p
I was in Build a bastard Bear at J28 on Saturday late afternoon with the shittest signal ever. I was paying more attention to my phone and the queue than what my daughter picked up and she ended up with a bear costing £75 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think the lack of an explanation from the club is shocking. However l can manage not to weigh in on them until l know how the decisions were arrived at.

The ones with a known father would surely be more expensive.

Agreed nothing once they have made the decision to make that stand unvailble to Blades supporters. The issue is why have they come to that decision in the first place as there is no ticket allocation requirements issue here. What if this match had been the last regular league game of the season with the winners taking tha last automatic promotion spot. Would the club have made the same decision. The truth is we can only speculate as the club have not stated the reasons for the change.

The only reason I can think of if it isn't the 10% rule considering Forest have now only given us 2k, is that SYP and the health and safety lot have said put them up top to stop them jumping onto the field as has happened this season with the all too frequent last minute winners we have conceded.

The wife's queued for 3 hours. Bagged the little a ticket in her st seat next to me.

Boom!

Accounts now linked.....ready for Wembley 🤣🤣🤣

This ticketing farce is just a load of bollocks, it just shows what the hierarchy at the club think of the fans!
Absolutely disgusting!

I've missed the clubs explanation for this, what did they actually say?
