I think you're judging a winger who played up front in a two last year on last year's performances. Regardless of his ability on the ball, defenses drop deep and play differently when he's on the pitch.
He's not a striker or a finisher and only Wilder has ever played him there as 1 of 2. It's like sticking Jamal Campbell Ryce up top and saying he's a shit striker, it's not his job!
Swap Burke today with anyone else in the squad and the result is the same
