Playing a stronger team v Cardiff than Burnley

Wilder is out of his depth with this squad, he’s thrown it together without a clue on what kind of team we want to be or what our strategy or identity is. Scott Parker is a much better manager than Wilder, he’s as a game plan and sticks to it. Wilder just names an 11 and hopes.

I said it a couple of weeks ago, what happened to the manager voted Manager of the Season by his peers while we were in the Championship, beating Guardiola to the prize? What happened to the manager whom Bielsa and Guardiola hailed as the most innovative and exciting in English football?

He is a shadow of that man and completely unrecognisable with no sign that the spark will ever come back. Now he just repeats the same thing over and over, takes the plaudits when we win and storms off and sulks like a petulant child when we don't, never taking any responsibility for his own failings.

I don't recognise Chris Wilder as Chris Wilder anymore.

Makes me wonder how much of it was Wilder and how much was Knill. Maybe he's just not listening anymore.

Wasn't it Knill who came up with the over lapping centre backs?

It made perfect sense.

Wilder has said he wants 90 points.

Far more chance of beating Cardiff than Burnley.

Wilder is out of his depth ...

2 points per game, over 44 games.

Bloke's struggling.

2 points per game is no doubt an excellent season, but the performances suggest otherwise.

The goal difference says it all for me, we’ve mostly just done enough to beat teams and when you’re playing with such tight margins there is always the possibility of Oxford, Millwall and Plymouth results.

Who knows where this team would be with a different manager but at the moment I struggle to see how Wilder is helping us win, feels more like he’s a hindrance.

It makes you wonder if there have been conversations at boardroom level and he's aware of the consequence of failure and if this has affected his recent decision making.

You’d think his new contract would give him security and reduce the pressure. Unless there are clause which allow the club to move on more easily should we not be promoted?
