Silent will no doubt correct me but I'm sure he made his debut v Southend at home, the game before Boxing Day '79. He commanded his area and we won 2-0. Thought the pigs never had a chance with him in goal. Sadly after that it was all downhill and fast. He had more chance of catching typhoid than any crosses
