I don’t know and no one does really no matter what some people will claim.

There was anger there but it wasn’t constructive for me it wasn’t necessarily like they’d given up on the manager or the club but just that they haven’t lifted themselves after the Leicester and they need to find a way to do it and quick I’d get a sports psychologist in there quick.

A lot has been said about Lundstram’s commitment to the cause and perhaps rightly so but today I saw a lot of hand waving from ampadu and again understandably he isn’t going to be fully committed because we aren’t his employers.

The BBC text commentary made a similar observation. They said, quite early in the game, that none of the United players were taking any responsibility on the pitch. Instead they were waving their arms and complaining about their team-mates.

The mental fortitude and strength of character that the team had in the promotion season and last season up until lockdown, has totally disappeared. The changing of a few cogs in the machine has completely killed the togetherness.

It happens. Nobody will dare to admit it but there will inevitably be cliques in the dressing room. They aren't apparent when a team is doing well but they appear when things get bad. There will be certain players who keep getting in the side at the expense of others despite the fact that they are producing nothing, and they will be disenchanted. Moreover, their closest mates in the dressing room will be hacked off on their behalf too.
