Players from Foriegn teams we could get?

Are there any gems from the lower foriegn leagues that we could get for next to nothing?

According to the Stir, thats what Blackwell is planning on doing (i'll believe it when i see it though)

Anyone had any advance warning of who our targets could be?

Surely theres a decent midfielder or two we could sign who hasnt already been snapped up by the EPL or West Brom.

It seemed clear from the recent Q&A's that McCabe doesn't think we use our 'foreign links' as well as we should. What happened to Sao Paulo by the way ???

D'Jaff has sent us a couple from France but apart from that, it's been the odd triallist and nothing more. As you say, other teams seem to find them but then again I don't think it's Blackwell's way either, he'd much rather rely on British grit and determination than 'foreign flair'.

Africa is the place to look. They seem to have an endless pool of raw talent and as has been shown by Portsmouth, Bolton, Stoke and Wolves etc. the African lads tend to suit the English style of play. It is a continent that seems to produce very strong and athletic players. Perhaps Henri Camara could point us in the right direction????

We will more than likely end up signing League One players.
