Long 2 - wowzer, a disaster waiting to happen, can't even command his 6 yard box never mind his area.
Freeman 4, his poorest game in a Blades shirt
Mcfazdean 2, absolutely terrible from his first touch until the last, hopefully the last time he puts a shirt on, none league at best.
Mceverly 4, captain!
Collins 4, shouting and blaming others whilst not getting his own game together.
Woolford 4, early days but looks a poor player and signing
Basham 4, his poorest game for a long time.
Baxter 5,at least he's lost weight but I can't see him doing anything in a division of committed and strong players, a luxury
Murphy 3, one good game in 5 and infuriating how nesh he is, summed up by a 50\50 that he made a 70\30 to the opposing player. Plodded about looking a bit disinterested.
Adams 6, felt sorry for him, not much service and moved about to several positions
Sharpe 5, tried hard but was out strengthed and had little service
Subs
Sammon 5, tried putting himself about but so did Porter
Reid and Scougall 4, too lightweight
Gillingham had stronger, bigger and more committed players and thoroughly deserved to win by 4 or more goals, it was depressing to watch and only confirmed to Adkins what most of us knew. The fans gave the players some abuse as the left the pitch which seemed to take Adkins by surprise. We bumped into a shell shocked Kevin MCcabe as we went down a corridor, he looked at our faces and said 'what can I say except sorry' my reply as 'shambolic' my mate said get some big strong committed players in before its too late. It's the Blades way.
