I agree. Anyone else think it's strange Norwood gets the armband infront of a Egan/JOC???

It would not surprise me if Chris has had a word with Egan and challenged him to earn the armband, being the motivator that he is.

Also I guess that the other reason could be that out of the captain 1st team candidates, Norwood has amassed the most appearances at a higher level in comparison to the others

I don’t think you need to make them captain, they’re natural leaders whether they’ve got the armband or not. In fact, you could say that about most of our players. Contrast that with Arsenal who haven’t even got an obvious captain.
