Player of the Season?

It's about the time of the year when this needs considering. However, I am honestly struggling here.

Obviously, Chris Morgan is always in contention due to the type of player he is and being a fans favourite. However, he hasn't pulled up any trees in terms of his performances.

The only two contenders I can think of are two players that have played half the season for us. Kyle Walker for an excellent first half of the season and Richard Cresswell for some crucial goals in the second half of the season.

Other than that, I can't think of anybody.

And the fact that a mediocre Morgan (by his own standards) and half-a-season Cressy and Walker are the stand-out three speaks absolute volumes for me ...

Looking at appearances, there is only those three, Monty, Wardy, Quinn, Henderson, Harper, Taylor, Evans, Bunn and Camara who have appearances of note.

it's difficult to pick a player of the season cos there's very few of the 1st team squad I have an affiliation with. I can't/won't vote for any of the loanees and some of the others have been injured/rubbish.

I can really only think of Monty and Morgan that have been consistent, Ward not bad in 3 or 4 game spells and well, i'm struggling after that.

On this basis I would pick Monty.
